Ads have become an increasingly large problem on YouTube. Not only do they always seem to be increasing in volume, but they simultaneously seem to be decreasing in quality. Today we’re gonna wade through an ocean of scams and nsfw content to get to the bottom of how ads on YouTube became so bad.

    They will never make ads friendly and tame as long as they have a paid subscription to an ad free version of their platform. I bet they encourage the harmful ads, in fact.

    5:17 And this is why people use ad blockers. Because people misuse the system and YouTube doesn't filter ads and you'll get scams, ads against the TOS and ads riddled with viruses if you were to click on them by accident.

    Teener take ……. as in to take a teenager? The word play thinks it covers up what it is, but it only points it out. There is no difference, btw, between a predator looking for a victim and gathering pictures of kids. The predator benefits from both of them.

    Dont forget about the fake charity ads. They use some well known disaster pretending like they are raising money for victims only they are just stealing the money and running.

    wow it's almost as if the bait, and switch yt channels all are run/owned by the same production company that could easily buy a simple yt ad spot and coordinate targetted sponsers across the several simp ass bait and switch dumb ass arg channels. SOOOOOOO SPOOOKY WOOOOOOOOOO

    Vuoi sapere cos'è il vero orrore? Dai 40 ai 60 secondi di pubblicità non saltabile sulle Smart TV. E non succede ogni tanto o raramente: capita ogni volta che cambi video oppure almeno tre volte durante un video di 15 minuti. Non so perché succeda proprio sulle Smart TV, ma mi fa davvero incazzare da morire.

    The other day I got an ad, and it was just a screen recording of a man scrolling on Google looking at photos of feet and cupcakes, all I could hear was a few deep breaths.

    I set up a watchlist with one of your videos being the next one, but when I clicked for the next I bumped on a video about.. ads???

    I got an ad for Pokemon tcg pocket once and it’s the ONLY time I liked a real ad for an app. It was a girl holding her cat in her lap, and using the cat’s paw to open the pack and swipe the cards. No spoken words, only a kitty cat playing Pokemon. I screen recorded it to keep it forever
