Dear Henry Philips, I hope you are doing well. Your videos are inspiring, and I one day hope to be half the chef you are. Please teach me your ways. Best Regards, luie5598.

"Twice the work and half the guilt", that's why they call it Protestant duck up in New England. Thanks for the great recipe, Henry!

Only OGs know that that intro was The Whore of Sausalito. Years later, that song still makes me cry. Mainly because Pavarotti never got to sing that song. His loss.

I greatly enjoyed some of your previous holiday monstrocities like the Veggieducken. Hoping for another this year! Jello shots already in the freezer as is Thanksgiving tradition! 🦃🥧🍂

Why the obsession with making vegan good look and feel like meat? Vegan cuisine has been around for thousands of years without that fakery.

You know, one good thing about having uploaded these videos for so many years is that you can be sure that many of the people that have previously commented on them are now dead.

Ducks are omnivores, not vegan. If you want a vegan duck, you have to keep it confined in a room without insects, fish, worms, and dead uncles, which are all on a duck's menu. And that's not very good animal welfare. I prefer regular duck. If you want vegan meat, maybe beef would be better? Cows are vegan as far as I know.
