Hey everybody! Welcome to Volume 4 of Great Songs You Might Not Know. I’m super excited about this episode. Racoma is a wonderful, indie band on the rise. Their NPR Tiny Desk Contest Audition is one of my favorite songs right now. Bill Fay’s story is completely one of a kind. And I’ll probably make yearly videos to just remind everybody about Soft Hair & Lying Has to Stop lol.

please check out Phil Ochs, namely the song Changes or the Highwayman. Ochs was a folk singer throughout the Greenwich folk scene of the 1960s and played a fairly substantial role throughout the protest movement of the times. He had a very interesting and tragic life but at his peak, like in these songs, his music was pure poetry

Ive been bumping DUCKWRTHs new ep a lot. I think he’s such an underrated artist. He blends banger/punky hip hop with neo-soul and pop-r’nb. Please check out FALL OUT by him

I quite enjoyed LAUREL's DOGVIOLET album, especially songs such as South Coast, Adored and Take It Back. I discovered her thanks to the Triple J channel and I guess it's something worth sharing.
