I don't think younger people could really grasp how ubiquitous free condoms were in the 90s. Especially after Magic caught the HIV. I was 15 that year. There were free rubbers until after graduation.

When I was a young boy comming of age in the late 90s and the Internet was still new I found a Hentai comic on Newgrounds that had a very similar concept to this movie. The Japanese probably loved this movie
