michael in the movie is pretty obviously a parallel to michael in the games, not 1:1 but you can tell the fact that they're effectively the same guy. both had their younger brothers removed from their presence at a younger age, partially due to their fault, go on to become security guards at the location made by the guy responsible for the death.

This movie has probably gotten worse for me since its release, and I’m not even that die hard of the fan. It fails in many aspects as a movie, particularly with the writing. Many important characters feel like dumbasses who never once looked back at the possibility something could happen.

That does sound brief, I mainly refer to Mike, Vanessa and Afton himself. Felt like a waste of time for Matthew Lillard

Another thing you have to realize is that it’s very likely that Michaels dad is Henry and that’s why he recognized him and you bring up so many things that are probably gonna be explored in the sequel also I’m telling you garret is probably gonna be revealed to be the puppet

Honestly I think it’s a smarter decision to make Michael not related to William and honestly if it’s confirmed that he is the son of Henry I’m all in

Ok i usually love the content you make but there are WAYY too many "Yes, the movie gives an explanation for this "dumb" thing, but COME ON!".
    "He's a deep sleeper huh?"
Yeah, he takes pills every time he sleeps
"I know he takes pills but COME ON!"

"Why don't he get a new babysitter?"
He's broke and has no friends. The movie tells you that
"I know he's broke but couldn't he just get a friend? COME ON!"

"Why did he say that line?"
He knows he'll animate because the kids did
"I know he'll reanimate like the kids but COME ON!"

This film is proof that right-wingers can't even comprehend the concept of creativity, let alone express any. I'm impressed by how much Scott Cawthon fucked up his own premise, and how much better Willy's Wonderland was in execution.

I agree with your statement that his brother should have been stuffed into one of the animatronics. When I watched this in cinemas at the end I truly thought the big reveal is that they return to the restaurant where Michael introduces Abbie to their little brother because he's inside Golden Freddy and that's why they held hands without knowing each other. I thought this movie was in agreement with being PG 13 so I don't see why It couldn't have had a semi happy ending with vanessa in hospital.

Did any of the people on this comment section actually listen to what Allen said?

I saw a bunch of people saying "OH BUT HE'S MAKING HIMSELF LUCID DREAM. " He legit brought that up and expanded by saying that memories fade and get more muddy.

    Seriously…

    Anyway…

The movie definitely was mid, tbh.

Maybe mid-high, because the suits, location, set, and pieces are ALL there.

Honestly, it just needed to be darker and more actually scarier.

I think Vanessa should've just been Elizabeth since they could've said that this is an alternative timeline where the crying child AND canon Mike were the one's who died.

Honestly, it just needed to actually develop itself. It felt half-baked… Like Afton shows up and dies.

The Animatronics are never really even Antagonists.

What happened to the brother? We'll never know until the next movie.

Are there any more details on the pizza place? Nope.

Honestly, this is a case of the fans rushing in to defend it just because "it's the thing." And critics = stupid… Like, I'm a FNAF fan, too, so I get it, but take off the rose tinted glasses… It's not a bad movie… However, it's definitely not great.

Yet, I believe a second movie will LIKELY fix the issues.

The issue with the fnaf movie is that the people behind the making of the movie knew that kids would watch it and didn´t want to upset soccer mom´s so they chose the safe route.

it's a shame that some of these horror movies foes down the drain like this

The fact this movie was pg-13 and not R, is astounding. I get that they want kids to be able to see the movie, but it’s so easy for teens to see R-rated movies nowadays

Actually Mike and Micheal are the same characters being the son and the security guard. So in a way the movie was confusing only due to the change of timeline of events that Mike wouldn’t be around when afton was alive still and that Mike isn’t he’s son ?
