    Oh god. Alex, you surely see the false divide when a smart guy like Destiny says such stupid things. I respect that you let people get their views out but it would be glorious if you took some positions that both parties would agree on and presented it to partisans. All the interesting political conversations don't happen. The unproductive, emotionally charged issues are all the media pushes on us and all people tend to talk about. When is the last time you heard a leftist talk about nationalizing resources in order to generate money to fund taxpayer benefits? That's an awesome leftist idea and one the current populist right could easily be sold on (Alaska anyone?) yet instead it's always abortion, transgenders, or other topics where discussion really isn't productive. If we talked about populism we'd unite and overthrow the government by next week. We all pay a shit ton of taxes, we all get shit social safety nets. Yet we argue over whether we should lower taxes or increase social benefits? Let's just agree that what we have is unacceptable and either option is preferable.

    Destiny is kind of interesting because he is the same sort of intellectual many of us cerebral types were when we were 14-16. It's interesting to see how that development goes when you don't become humbled. I think the majority of us face life experience that forces us the recognize not only that intellect isn't everything but that when we see intelligent people as morons it's because we've been brainwashed. A lot of smart people are unable to admit they've been brainwashed so they end up appearing really stupid like how Destiny comes across. Any open minded person can recognize that Destiny and Elon are intelligent human beings but they both have character traits that make them come across as simpletons with no emotional intelligence. It's weird. Destiny reminds me so much of the rants I'd post on myspace when I was 14. I thought the fact that I was smarter than people meant that what seemed apparent to me was true and people who thought otherwise were dumb. Now I feel so stupid and it's largely because I'm 100000x more educated than I was when I thought I knew everything. Destiny comes across like an intellectual teenager.

    2:00 Destiny, a quick google search will prove you wrong. everywhere you look regarding elon's IQ, it never even touches the 140s. its always high 150s low 160s. To think that a 97 IQ person could run the numerous innovative companies over the course of a couple decades from their inception, while being somewhat known for his job interviews not being based on having a degree, but being capable of abstract thinking, problem solving, solving puzzles, etc. there is so much more i can talk about that would prove destiny wrong here and frankly most of the issues Elon has are down to his philosophy of "move fast and break things" (which is part of why his businesses are so successful, while also being what hurts them), the fact that he is on the spectrum, and has a drug problem.

    the fact that Destiny has no nuance here and feels so confident to make such claims about Elon having a low – average IQ, is honestly enough proof for me to know Destiny's IQ is not as high as he presents it to be. as people with gifted IQ dont behave the way he does because they are psychologically aware of how much they do not know, which makes them more humble and receptive. Alex demonstrates this. he is inquisitive, he has an open mind and assumes he doesnt know all sides and therefore will play from the other side in order to get a nuanced perspective on the issue to get the closest he can to absolute truth. Destiny is so insanely harsh in his stances that i simply cant take anything he says seriously. he even laughed about a trump supporter got killed. a fire fighter who is a public servant, that has likely saved peoples lives, who had a wife and children. he literally sees nothing wrong in a trump supporter being killed and even laughed at the incident and hasnt apologized.

    destiny, you are pathetic excuse of a man. I dont say this because i disagree with you on politics, i say this because the content of your character makes you one in my view. you're a genuinely bad person, and i cant take a single thing you say seriously anymore.

    I feel like destiny has it wrong about republicans being racist, sure there are racist people but I feel like conservatives are relatively nice especially considering most of them are Christians (not necessarily meaning they are good people) who usually have a good moral ground, and most of the republics I see are not racist and really nice and respectful, I think that liberals could be pushing a stereotype, but I could be wrong, I personally dont care at all about politics I think its a waste of time so me standing up for republicans isn't because I am one its just because I haven't seen a whole lot of racist republicans (btw I'm not republican or democratic like I said up there I dont care about politics)

    I don't understand why Alex is fervently devil's advocate for Elon Musk. Alex is a rational human who suggests he abides logic and reasoning, but shows his true colors with any inkling of support for Musk. The whole of what Musk represents as well as his actions should tip the scales for Alex. I feel like what I'm witnessing is a mask that Alex puts on — this claim of neutrality — while secretly reveling in conservatism. There's simply no way that you can quantifiably justify Musk's recent actions as beneficial for society. At the tail end he's leading Destiny by asking about the cause for concern of white people becoming an ethnic minority. Like are you SERIOUS? If this is where your head is at behind the curtain, then wow.

    Destiny gave counter-example of Abo4tion, that most Democrats support it but it doesnt serve democratic party because it decreases number of future democrat babies. That's a bullshit argument, because woman having an abo4tion doesn't automatically that she will never have children – she most likely will have babies it's just that it will hapen later when she's ready, instead today when it came from an accident.

When Alex laid out a very reasonable steel man of Musks position, Destiny was just like no, Elon musk is stupid has a low IQ…….. Ok, cool story but actually tell me where musk is wrong because as an outside observer who probably is stupid, it looks to me like Elon musk is onto something and certain people don't want to admit it.

    Actually immigrants usually vote for republicans because they're mostly catholic. My whole family, immigrants who became us citizens voted for Trump because Jesus told them to. It's insane. It's like roaches voting for Raid.
