I come from the future to say that, after the Taylor Swift endorsement of Kamala, white women under 30 will vote for Kamala for sure 😅😅
White women on their 40s and older I'm not sure.

I’m gen z and I go to a small liberal art school, tbh a lot of white women and white queer ppl, where most of the ppl didn’t wanna vote for Biden because of Palestine and I would usually argue with people that Trump would be far worse for Palestine and that we can’t help Palestine if Trump is oppressing us acting as a fascist dictator. But now since Kamala is running and now people are making the same points I made about Biden, but it does help that since she isn’t an old white man and because of trans rights and healthcare and reproductive rights and healthcare I rlly do have hope there’s more of a turn out for her with my demographic. I think Kamala’s campaign definitely reminds me of Obama’s and I think for the most part besides leftists that are critical of Obama most gen z has a lot of nostalgia for the stability of the Obama era

I’m Gen Z and I feel where u coming from bro because it’s crazy at 6 years old knowing all the presidents were white i had a little hope even tho i felt like he was gonna fail but once he became president I felt like anything is possible even tho I didn’t know anything about politics at that time

Not strictly about Harris/liberals/the-left… but how did you, older-millennial uncle in green heaven, FD Sig not yet publicly connect the dots between "Republican's are weird" and "They not like us".

It's wild to me that a rap beef seems to have influenced a presidential campaign strategy! I know Hasan has been banging the "just be normal" drum for some time too, which might also have factored in, but however the zeitgeist got to them, I'm now certain some of those strategists are in video essays and live streams taking notes.

I get voting for Kamala instead of Trump, I really do. But making memes of her, praising her as some sort of hero, forgetting that she's literally a war criminal, that's where we draw the line

I really dont know how to describe it. Not a single vote cast in her name (cmon, people. voted for Joe not Kamala) and she is the nominee and inspiration for America. She represents absolutely nothing. Has abandoned any actual progressive stance she held in 2020, is just ripping off the Obama playbook but this time has ZERO substance to anything that comes out her mouth. It's still a step above Donald Trump, but anyone who is at least 30 by now knows exactly what to expect from yet another "moderate" democrat. Who im convinced after that convention speech is now just a tyedyed version of 2000's Republicans.

Joe Biden wasn't just some random white man, dislike him for his policies sure, but this man has been one hell of a politician his entire life. A very experienced and very intelligent individual who is also a true patriot. He was just a really good pick.

This commentary is such a breath of fresh air. I've been experiencing such contradictory feelings in all this, not even knowing what to say cause I don't want to make anything worse, and watching this helps me feel normal and realize that it's okay to shut up, just keep paying attention and wait and see what happens.

Donald Trump as the US president again. I shudder at that thought. If he was at least a decent human being, I wouldn’t think it’s insane for him to be president. We hear arguing about VP Kamala and her politics. Her being able to be in that position itself is noteworthy that too as a woman.

Late to the party but gotta say I think the Walz pick was probably the literally ideal version of "appealing white guy running mate" that was being described in point 1. Time will tell I suppose but he really seems to be hitting all the notes that he needs to.

Ok, but do you offer any answers? I’m speaking out of turn but this sounds like you’re discouraging “i you pawed mobility” amongst you’re own people. Again, I’m speaking from an uninformed position.

I'm confused about the Kamala "excitement". She's never actually won an election at any level and was essentially installed as the candidate without a primary win. She should win by a landslide because of what she's gojng against, but not because of anything shes actually done.

We gotta stop calling her a cop. She was a prosecutor who never went to the a academy. That holds its own set of issues because that basically makes her a lawyer but for the government. Lawyers cant be trusted, but they are not the same as cops. On one hand, she went to school to learn the law waaaaay longer (which should make her more qualified) but on the other hand she is still a part of the same system that allows someone to go to jail for a non-violent offense longer than someone who has SA'd someone. Welcome to politics?

So far I'm seeing promising stuff from white women liberals at least. My 60 year old mom is hype for Kamala, even started rallying at a family dinner. She said a big problem was that Hilary Clinton is one of the worst candidates you could have put forward for white women, she was seen as betraying the 'sisterhood' for standing by her man when he cheated. Stupid rationale considering it gave us Trump, but I have hope.
