I disagree with forcefully preaching like this especially to kids who also had enough intelligence to say they don’t want to learn about it since they follow a different religion. But people are taking him slightly out of context and making this a huge deal for sure. Peanut guy is not helping his case either

I knew the vision thing was going to get brought up, the origin of that was from the book, which gives the reason for the 'stay still, it won't see you' and that reason is because of the use of amphibian DNA that was required to complete the recovered dinosaur DNA strand, same reason that the velociraptors were able breed though they were all supposed to be female.

I believe that the rock these animals are buried in may be very very old as you’re saying “billions of years” but the ground I’m standing on doesn’t accurately depict my age or the human races age does it? How do you account for this? And every body knows we’re created by God in his image. Why in his image…glad you asked. We can imagine and create on a different scale than other animals. Our God is really a wonderful creator and being like him…so can we be…Amen

He works on Tyrannosaurs…..everything is made up and that’s a fact! He is effectively embellishing everything after his heart. Must be a nice job to make stuff up and have zero accountability because it truly doesn’t matter at all and everyone chooses to be,over ANYTHING you say because you’re the expert 8n something that doesn’t exist and no one has ever seen. lol Pathetic!

This discussion is a great example of how what we are taught is usually greatly simplified and based on assumptions that are not necessarily true. Every subject is greatly nuanced when you really study it. I found this a fantastic lesson in how to distinguish characteristics, evolution and potential coincidence.

They were so big because the atmosphere allowed it. You cant assume that a giant animal back then would perform like one would today. The massive increase in oxygen increased their performance . Running from a t rex would be like a 2 inch tall person running away from a chicken. Youd be screwed

30k hours of expert work before all the incidental costs. Then couple it with rarity and uniqueness.
30+ million USD actually reasonable.
They were clearly too cheap before if anything.

Fascinating.
Just about everything this guy says, he cites some study, paper or other evidence to support it.
Even then he occasionally uses "my guess is…'
He's just the complete opposite so many YouTube "trust me bro" experts.

There was one thing I'm confused about, he said they wouldn't eat a human sized animal unless it ran into its mouth, then he says that they would hunt the smaller animals that are pushed away from main food source?
I would expect the TRex to be an opportunistic eater. Like a dumb carp fish. It will just take a swing at everything and regurgitate anything that tastes wrong.
