Charles Manson Was My Grandfather – Family Curse
Notorious cult leader and murderer Charles Manson casts a long shadow – and no one knows this better than his grandson, Jason Freeman. Now, in this extraordinary documentary series, Jason is speaking out about growing up under the ‘family curse’ and the profound impact it has had upon his life. Cameras follow Jason for 16 months as he attempts to come to terms with his bloodline and put his life on a track that doesn’t end up replicating the sins of his father, who committed suicide – or grandfather. With incredible access we hear previously unheard calls that Manson made to Jason from prison, and follow him as he tries to meet his grandfather for the first time. Constant twists and turns in this gripping story mean they never meet while Manson is alive. When he dies, Jason has to fight other claimants for Manson’s body. After a lengthy court case he finally gets to ‘meet’ Manson and our cameras were there, in the funeral home, capturing this emotional and highly charged moment. Exclusive footage and unprecedented access combines to produce a truly riveting series, delivering a whole new perspective on one of the world’s most infamous killers and the legacy he leaves his family.

These people are so strange for crying and losing their sh*t over someone they don’t even know, and for someone who was a very bad person. And yes, I know he never actually murdered anyone. He was a lifetime criminal.

If you really want to understand Manson read the book Chaos, then you'll understand better than any TV program can tell. Just because you are related doesn't mean you are a bad person.., Manson had a bad childhood, add the MK Ultra CiA experiment and that's what happened

Those people were Charles Manson’s friends for many years of course they’re gonna win to take something home that happens at every funeral. Sounds like the mother and the wife were more worried about him being Charles Manson than he was.

And not only that Jason said he wanted them to have some of his ashes. I think it’s his wife who didn’t.

I cannot get why people blame the family for the acts of one person, especially when the family in question wasn't even born yet. Every single person alive on this planet today is alive because at some point they had some real A-holes as ancestors. People who profited and survived at the expense of others. Doesn't matter where you are from, this is global. You had nothing to do with what your ancestors chose to do, good OR bad, so don't go blaming anyone else for what theirs did.

I don’t know why Jason’s mom doesn’t think that he should want to see and know who his grandfather is. It’s kind of crazy.

You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family.

💉The cia payed for this experiment to see if a mad homeless man could control a group of promising young women to commit the worse crimes and it worked flawlessly 💊

Charles was mentally ill and a product of his horrific childhood. To a certain point I had great pity for him because of this. He did not ask to be born into that life.

THIS grifting lying POS?!! Are. You. Kidding?! He was debunked years ago. So you knowingly glossed over and omitted what really happened and didn't happen in that court hearing, as well as his true biological Father, all the people omitted from this (because most of them have too much integrity to participate in this anyway, so you could continue to perpetuate the sh!tshow and exploit the zoo of his funeral and his estate. Charlie talked to MANY people that way on the phone (recorded) & in letters … yet Mr "My GrandfatherMyGrandfatherMyGrandfather" Freeman was NEVER added to the visitors list by CM when many, many others were. What else do we expect from Freeman and Bagans. Graywolf nailed it "…. vampires and parasites, and always will be". Now that I know what this channel is & ISN'T about …. UNSUBBED.

Charles Manson, anti social personality disorder, malignant narcissistic personality disorder. Nothing scary or strong or unique about him, just severe mental health dysfunction. I hope for those who suffered because of him, including the descendants, genuine peace.

Fun fact: Charles Manson did not murder anybody. He told his friends to murder people and those dumbf*cks actually did it.

I remember watching Charlie Manson on the news. Manson did have mentors, in fact he had famous mentors. Manson wanted to be in control. He was crazy!! Definitely a famous killer 😏

Why did they give Manson such a spotlight? I mean if they were trying to discourage the "satanic panic", why sensationalize it?
