Anytime I hear someone claim "Illegals are taking our money," it's an instant facepalm. That is never how it works. They pay a lot of the same taxes that we do and they can't even apply for any of the support systems that they help pay into because they risk deportation if they do.

Some states have opened up a few of those resources to undocumented ppl, but usually that's only an actual option for them if they have children that are US citizens and the benefits they can qualify are specifically to support their children – you know, the US citizens in their household. This is so incredibly obvious if ppl would just take a few minutes and look up how these systems actually work instead of just believing whatever they read on Facebook!

And that's why I find it hard to take the political analysis of the kinds of ppl that will shout those sorts of things seriously. They have a tendency to not actually know much about how things actually function in the real world.

And honestly, I'm not sure what the position of the woman shouting that actually was. She followed up with a shout about how voting is corrupt in Vermont? 😮‍💨 I find that hard to believe. Particularly as my aunt says a lot of the same things here in Iowa and yet her political party keeps winning. If it's so corrupt, why do the ppl you vote for keep winning, Aunt L? Are you saying something about your own party?

Granted, Vermont isn't exactly a right wing state, unlike Iowa (recently – hopefully that's coming to an end, but I doubt it). But I bet the voting in Vermont is every bit as fair as it is here in Iowa. Which is to say… Money in politics is a problem everywhere. And it has absolutely nothing to do with how many ppl in the US are undocumented, nor what social safety net programs they can apply for. Cuz you know, undocumented ppl don't vote in the vast majority of elections and in the few places where they are allowed to vote, it's only for local elections (ie municipality, county, etc).

I accidently found your site andit is very interesting. Growing up on a Dairy Farm myself I couldn't help notice how deep the manure/straw is in your corral. My Dad would take a tractor with a scraper attachment in there and clean all that out yearly. Your fence would be alot higher LOL. It makes me very mad that we have been buying fertilizer from China! I just saw this news! Why? when did this start? And yet Restaurants, schools, grocery stores, throw out food scraps and cattle yards, golf courses, horse racing grounds, horse trainers all throw out manure that could be composted. A Book I wish we could all read over and over is "FARMERS OF FORTY CENTURIES". We should be using our own resources instead of purchasing them from China. I will buy an apple with a spot on it and cut that spot out.

I wonder if this law came up because of data center, solar farms and developers trying to take farm land from farmer. All these have become concerns to citizens. Especially since data center just build wherever even when the town says no. Got to wonder about the democratic process when that happens.

Morgan thank you for bringing attention to what is affecting your community. We watch you as a family and you’re a huge inspiration for our girls who want to be farmers. We are facing our own issues in Illinois that are forcing us to sell our mini farm. We have decided to move to Mexico as we feel like this country is too far gone. Not that Mexico is better but at least we can own a good size property without spending our lives paying for interest and taxes. We are cheering for you and your city.

Globalists themselves say Americans will own nothing and be happy. Apartment complexes are popping up everywhere and average young Americans cannot buy land or homes. The government needs to be put back in its place. Its we the people not they the government. I love gardening, supporting our local farmers markets, and for sure helping those in need. Florida is being destroyed by over development. I 100% agree with everything you are saying.

The majority of politicians are scum. The political wings like to pretend it's only the "other side" that's scum. No, it's all of it. Typically it's the far left that has the environment high on the agenda but they are not known for their rationale nor understanding the concept of nuance. So their solutions are often useless. If it gets implemented it's wasted money that will have to be revised later on because it DOESN'T WORK. There's a level of tunnel vision, which it seems the proposed laws you're dealing with seem to be a victim of. Like, the people that came up with these laws. They sat there and came up with it and thought, "yes this seems great, no major problems here." It just proves they have no place in the positions they are in.

How do you know if a politician is lying? >> their lips are moving.
When they start saying "oh lets sit down and talk it out …." you know they have no intention of doing anything about your concerns other than ignore them and claim they "couldn't do anything">
Colour me cynical but the globalist 'green' agenda is evil. These changes to land use is just another chapter in land clearances as happened in Ireland and Scotland.
This kind of stuff is happening in Australia too.

Birdie is a cute name, it'll be cute to see her grow up. I already know that Toby doesn't like the rain. All of the goats are smart in their own way.

If you're gonna make a 20 min video about something like this you may as well get into some of the details. I have no idea what any of the good or bad is in this bill. It's almost like you're using this video as a long commercial to watch whatever your other video is you were talking about.

I liked your documentary, it was well done and I look forward to more of your documentary-style work. But when I'm listening to a zoning dispute and I hear globalist my first thought is wacko, follow that with illegals get our taxes and I'm thinking this is some kind of political cult thing and stop listening. All 3 are legitimate subjects for discussion, but how are they related? This is nothing against you or your project, more a statement on our current political discord. Can nobody stay on topic anymore? Is it just a battle of the cults now?

I really don't appreciate the bait and switch. I have been watching you faithfully for many years. I have PTSD and I'm very triggered by angry yelling. I knew that your documentary existed and I intended to watch it when I was ready. Now I have seen that woman yell "GO HOME!" 3 times recently. One time was unfortunate, 2 times, well. Ok. But now I'm angry.
If you do this again I will stop watching you permanently.

Today’s amendment actions were a great change for VT! The on-farm businesses aspect is especially important to the farmers I support.
