"Why don't the writers know about things?"
That is what frustrates me about this so called movie. There are so many obvious goofs in how things work…like they are plot holes, it's just dumb sh*t…human beings with a heart rate of 105 is nowhere near "way to high"…like, that's something you can Google. TNks rusting because "no data". Helicopters spining around (like the tail rotor has failed) has NOTHING to do with "data"…airplanes falling vertically out of the sky because "no data"…if the aliens have taken out satellites and key infrastructure like poweplants…how is there any internet, YouTube or Facebook? A global military reaction in hours? Nah…I grew up in Fayetteville
, NC…even the 82nd Airborne can't get mounted up and deployed that quickly. Amazon delivery drones are very large, what Mark pulled out of his bag was a racing drine wuth a battery life of…about 3 minutes…and no place to store cargo…just stupid, com,on sense sh*t like that. We're not even gonna talk about the so-called "hacking" that Ice Cube is doing…he's a sh*t character that is unlikable. Dave isn't much better. Faith is dumb (wierd because she's clearly the snartest character in the movie) Mark is a doofus…its just Baaaad.

The worst part is a lot of that technology is actively being used against us and YEAH THEY DO JUST BE IGNORING SHIT. Hell, they even ignore direct reports of plans to do violence so not sure why we would expect them to follow up about any suspicious activity they get thru spying. Also the answer is yes- the software IS biased against women, and anyone this isn’t a white man, because the original tech was made by white men using white men for white men and then they realized they had a problem when the technology couldn’t get the majority of women and like all people of color correct. And then largely they said eh…that would take a lot of work to fix so.. they just kinda left that for other people, primarily POC and/or women, to fix. My dad worked in the initial technology for the military in the late 80’s and he cannot handle movies like this without pointing out every issue lmao
