After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, Ryan Coogler and Marvel found themselves in the difficult position of continuing an iconic and culturally important series without its main star. The result is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever– a lovely tribute to Boseman, but not without some Marvel-ness to poke fun at!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever does raise some questions. Like how do you actually pronounce NAMOR? How is this guy getting in and out of Wakanda so easily? Why would they go fight the ocean people on their home turf? Is everybody Iron Man now?

To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever!

After every white person on earth was afraid to say anything but "GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!" about the first movie, that then turned out to be pretty disappointing I never bothered to see this sequel, I guess I made the right call. šŸ˜€

One of those movies that everyone says is great but I thought was stupid. A secret civilization under water? What next? A secret civilization under the Earth? On the Moon? In the Antarctic? I know it’s a movie but there has to be some logic to it for the world to remain believable. And the final battle irritated me in so many ways. The cast were great though.

    >[…]and why he hates everybody.
    >Understandable.
    >I didn't even tell you why he hates everybody
    > I know, I just…I get it

I watched that five times in a row.

Of the many failures in this movie that made me dislike it, I will focus on the two most annoying ones. First, the extreme changes to Namor were utter BULLSHT. Second, the way everyone in Wakanda overpronouncing they're English to make dam sure we understand they were African as if that weren't obvious, especially the way they pronounced the "H" in heart shaped herb.

The really funny thing is that somewhere near the end of 2024, whales in real life really DID start a revolt and started attacking ships. So. Yknow. Real life is crazier than the MCU now so thats neat.

Shouldn't the best warrior in Wakanda be Black Panther? That certainly isn't Shuri. And why didn't Wakanda just tell the world who was responsible? The rest of the movie had to happen, I guess.
