But despite posing as a normal aviation business, these commercials proved so unsettling that many suspected something sinister was happening behind the scenes. And these theories would only be heightened following the disturbing revelation of its creator’s identity.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the sales listings ending at 7pm on December 31, 1969 is a quirk of the Unix epoch and real-life time zones that happens when someone sets the timestamp to 00:00:00 0-0-0 (which would be midnight January 1, 1970 in UTC, but 7pm December 31 1969 in the Americas central timezone).

I work with a charity that helps people who have been trafficked and a big part of our training is identifying the language used by traffickers and the ways that they advertise what they are doing. The web page and videos INSTANTLY made me feel this was trafficking-related. Really horrible stuff, thanks for covering it.
