Look 200k/yr for a CEO is not a crazy number by any means relatively speaking BUT I believe their premise is the #1 detractor. They are trying to produce AND promote a vehicle that would be much more at home in Europe than in the US. Cars are only getting bigger. Even the Tesla is not considered a compact car. It is a roomy sedan with huge power! I wonder if there is any data on what the Aptera would cost and how many pre-orders they have

Hardly makes it past 30 seconds without false information. The original Aptera design from 2006 was not electric at all and instead had a combustion engine. The current company was launched in 2019. Also not sure I'd trust anyone trying to make a career out of a youtube channel showcasing "short selling research" on private companies.

Not disagreeing with you, the clip Steve used to “debunk you” shows your videos, one of those videos is you saying NOT to invest in rocket lab, which is up 27% since your video. Really wished I’d not watched that one.

Where in the world do you come from? It doesn't matter to me what your words are. Your attitude is definitely negative. What do you have against Aptera? Are you a Russian or a competitive company or representing the oil industry?

They have an extremely efficient car that could actually never need charging for someone who doesn't drive very far to a job every day. It would be a college student's dream. Just jump in and go do a pizza run. Then take the laundry and head 100 miles home on the weekend, and never charge it. Never do anything to it except drive it. The idea is great and it looks like it has been reasonably implemented for efficient functionality. But in the end, it's a $45,000 3 wheel EV, and for that kind of money you can get one with 4 wheels and seating for 5. It's great for a wealthy person to have. If I were wealthy I'd happily buy one of their prototypes, just because it's a cool idea, and it appears to work as described, but a wealthy person can buy whatever they want. They aren't desperate for this highly efficient car that can run without fuel. The rich can afford an inefficient car. Investors see all this, and they aren't going to put hundreds of millions of dollars into something that can't compete in the open market. If they had succeeded in designing it in such a way that it could be produced for $20k to $25k like they were talking about for years they could get all of the investment money in the world. But they didn't. It wasn't designed to be produced cheaply. It was designed to be stylish, cool, and very efficient. They designed the perfect car for a poor or retired person, and there are many poor and retired people out there, but at a price a poor or retired person couldn't touch. This is a custom car. It has no market because the rich don't need it, and the poor can't afford it. It needs a redesign, not of its form, but of the way it's produced. It needs some shortcuts. It needs to become the modern VW bug, with extreme cost-cutting, enough to make it a bit quirky, but very inexpensive. Then once the car is selling a couple million a year they can afford to work out the quirks. They need something like Tesla's design team to rework the build-ability, turn the body into a 2-piece shell, same aerodynamic shape, different manufacturing processes. Cut the size of the battery pack down so the basic car has a 75 mile range, then people can add extra 50 mile range plug-in battery modules one a time as they can afford them to get any range they want or need. Go over everything about the vehicle with price in mind, and create a production line for it that will get its price down to below $25k, and as close to $20k as possible, or lower. The Chinese are selling 4-wheel cars for under $20k, so I know it can be done for that price with 3 wheels. There is nothing wrong with the Aptera idea. It's a great idea. It's the implementation that sucks. It just wasn't designed to sell to the people who need it, the people who need a very efficient car, a car they don't have to charge up or fuel up, a car they don't have to fix all the time, a car they just get in and drive. If they can get that, they will put up with anything that has to be done to it in order to make it affordable. Millions of people NEED an Aptera. The price just needs to be matched to the market.

If something like that is ever done, (doubtful,) it will become the most popular car in history.

Waste of money they need 2 million dollars a month to pay their employees and for the building. Just to look like a big company that builds a vehicle that they cannot produce. But can pay people to answer calls and make calls asking for money. Just invest only 60 million dollars in our company. That at least will pay our employees for the next few years while we string people along making promises their vehicle is almost ready to be produced. Just like they did the same thing before. Oh we went looking for a building today to start manufacturing. Oh we got 110 million almost ready to start production. Oh to many investors pissed off they were promised a vehicle for years and are threatening to sue. Time to file for bankruptcy.
