Kinda disagree with witch hunts being brought to Africa by Europeans because Islamic empires had their own form of the witch hunts that usually ended in beheadings (see wikipedia list of known witch hunt victims) AND witchdoctors/warlocks who can be male or female do exist in African tradition but they do horrific stuff in the name of "healing" such as castrating young boys to produce bs "performance enhancers" for older rich men, telling people they are cured of HIV by making them drink toxic substances, or recommending the 🍇 of virgin girls to purge STDs including HIV. So African witchdoctors who are native to the culture are hunted for revenge or to stop them from hurting kids (mainly boys because nobody cares about girls getting 🍇 d and infected with deadly diseases over there).
