How we went from videos about Elvis running out of relatives to kiss and having to resort to kissing strangers to an unhinged video linking Meatballs III to The Great Gatsby (with a side of Driving Miss Daisy) needs to be studied. There's a PhD thesis that needs to be written about this topic.

2:30 Bill Murray's speech wasn't about how NOTHING matters. It was about how it didn't matter if their camp beat the other camp in the competition that particular summer. It wasn't some kind of celebration of nihilism. It was him saying "Stop taking it so seriously and have some fun!" A far cry from declaring "Nothing means anything!"

Meatballs 3 was just using boobs as a replacement for Bill Murray. We couldn't get him this time to make a wholesome comedy, so now we will have boobs.

You guys got me to rewatch the entire movie on YouTube, I grew up watching it on Comedy Central (usually followed by Transylvania 6-5000).
Holy crap, the fact she IMMEDIATELY attempts to bang a teenager to fulfill his wish is madness. George Buza (Beast from the X-Men cartoon) seemed like he was having fun at least.
And the whole "No means yes" thing….you just KNOW some teenage boy took this advice to heart and got charged with assault. And how about the scene where the Bull is insinuated to been involved in a threeway?
Wet Hot American Summer definitely found inspiration from these Meatballs movies, pretty sure it even had an angel character.
