I thought majority of Ken Burn’s works, as an aggregate if there is one, was about American in spite of Birth of a Nation.
I guess I was way off, thus did not get the Onion aspect of things.

OK, I got most of the jokes in the stills. Naked dude charging with a musket, Washington pulling a dead horse on the sidewalk, Lincoln and Booth at the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Could not find the joke in the image of the military procession. Anyone?
