   This raises for me, the question of whether consciousness itself is a quantum machine causing superposition at such a small level that it causes waves to condense into particles ie it causes light which would otherwise be in an ambiguous state of having subtle variable values(waves) to a concrete pattern (particles). Maybe observation is what imposes superposition

   Apart from the ridiculous claim about eating animals "When we excessively consume animals" and "making the land less capable of regenerating itself" the video was interesting. Clearly there is an anti-farming "VEGAN" message in this video. Humans developed AGRICULTURE to grow crops and breed livestock to feed the masses and nourish the land we use not deplete nature. Humans have the right to existence and along with religious the right to use natures resources whether they be animal or material. It is written in ancient texts before ALL the great religious books. To say what you said is deeply ignorant of the needs of survival and indeed that of conservation. "Your Deep Ecology" agenda is right on some ethical ideas, but fundamentally vulnerable to nature itself because catastrophic natural events are proven to wipe out ALL life, where is the equal right in nature? There isn't any such thing as equal rights in any aspect of life. A crocodile, lion, anaconda, falling tree, falling rock or bolt of lightening doesn't stop and think before it strikes. You are either food or in the wrong place at the wrong time. I stopped watching at 26:16 because I knew from then on, the only scary thing you were discussing was sowing angenda against life itself.

   The idea that everything is just a probability until it's observed comes from the Copenhagen Interpretation of QM. It's an unproven speculation, not a scientific fact. About 60% of physicists reject this interpretation. It's all just opinion.

   Isn't Decoherence just One interpretation of the data? Could this not be the same as the position or velocity but never both at the same time problem? Just in a slightly different register?

    It is real before it is observed, observation collapses the wave and it's superposition of non local entanglement from its natural state of coherence and decoherese it from it's 5d superposition to a 4d emergent state where it is entangled to the observer and becomes localized making it's infinite Bruhat-Tits tree branches of possibility ccollapse into a destined path. The observer only sees himself as separate from what he measures but the reality is that there is no true seperation. All that we define, slice and disect is a process of our little minds acting like a prism and filtering the pure infinite connected state of everything as one into a rainbow bridge of concepts and definition.
    Our mind creates the local state based on its entanglement to what ever it measures and sees . In reality, time, space, distance, light and dark are all emergent constructs that arise or collapse from a higher order of dimensionality where energy is free from any coordinate, lattice, force or construct barrier…. it is not bound to anything but itself and it's potential.
    We being part of this creation are drops in this ocean in the local state, yet in a higher dimensional conceptuality, we are also the entire ocean within a drop. An entire universe of higher dimensional space boundless from the conceptual understanding of the universe lies within us. Everytime we peer out into the sky a piece of what we see is a projection of our inner reflection. When we look out we are really looking at the universe within us and we become judges of our domain and we are judged how we judge others. How we see the world says more about us than it does about the world.
    Superposition is the uncollapsed state of reality in its wave form, un bound by the emergent constructs of time, space, distance or locality. Only when it is measured does it decohere. Post measurement slit experiment are where reality really takes you on a deep dive. The particle is only measured after it passes the slit. This brings in the function of retrocausality. The uncollapsed possible paths of the light through both slits becomes determined only after it is measured after the slit, therefore the future measurement influences the past by collapsing the photons path retrocausally before it passes through the slit but only after it has done so and been measured. Time moves in one direction but choice and measurement can change the past as well as the future.
    The past is a holographic superpositioned state, the present is the emergent collapsed state alway evolving and moving into the future which is also a holographic superpositioned state. Only the present emerges at a collapsed local state. Everything else is non local and acting upon the present phenomenal state on a local level. Abra cadabra or avra ke-davra (אברא כדברא), meaning "I create as I speak".

    You’re being political at this point I’m at but I’m stuck earlier in the video, I disagree that the detector interacted with the experiment enough to alter the outcome of the electrons choice of pathway. I do believe that it’s forced to choose once observed.

    nothing changes when you look at it , it's ALREADY a wave AND a particle , it's BOTH at the same time ,
    this is the reason why it SEEMS TO change , when you look at it or measure it with a computer , the observer doesn't even enter the equasion .
    that's just happenstance , they're already in both forms , you just happen to observe one side of the coin ,
    if you where on the other side Of the coin , you would see … the other side …
    once we understand that and could change the angle of viewing somehow , we could switch the sides to our liking .
    make the particle in to a wave and maybe go invisible to the people observing the experiment .
    but we just barely figured out how to turn the machines on and off , it's going to take some time , we're not as smart as we all Think we are , are we ?
    not even the smart ones …
