The Trump Administration Gave Us Explosive Diarrhea
Cyclospora is spreading thanks to Taylor Farms and a Trump cut ravaged CDC, so why is Taco Bell getting all the smoke? Might it be the Maga donation and White House visit from Taylor Farms CEO? They’re doing NOTHING to dispel that notion. Federal health officials on Friday expanded the scope of their investigation into an outbreak of a diarrhea-causing parasite to four additional states, broadening the size of the largest U.S. outbreak of cyclospora.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the outbreak first tied to shredded lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants now includes Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. Previously the agency’s investigation included five states: Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Lettuce that emerged from….you guessed it… Taylor Farms.
The CDC, Food and Drug Administration and state health officials have been tracing the supply of the lettuce and interviewing people across the nation about the foods they ate two weeks before getting sick. but not before making a big show of indicating that it was a false positive test that indicted Taylor Farms initially. Tahts funny because they’re still under a recall. Make it make sense.
The number of cases linked to the lettuce is now 1,947, including at least 98 people who had to be hospitalized. There have been no deaths, the agency reported on its website.

Taylor farms owns Earthbound, and I will never buy these brands. Don't blame this on Mexico the aren't sick. You can look up brands that won't make you sick. Maybe they got that water from the data centers, and If I got sick I would sue.

It's the same thing as with E. coli. E. coli comes from mammals and should not be on romaine lettuce, but the lettuce fields are right next to a cattle operation in California. The water used to irrigate the fields has runoff from the cattle waste in it so it contaminates the lettuce. This has been going on a long time.

I sanitize my vegetables with a little bleach, especially the fresh salad. Never got ill from that.
But I will never purchase fresh vegetables or any food produced, pre-chopped and package for fresh salad purposes because the process of mass chopping and packaging food produce can never be sanitary trusted enough for me.
For fresh salad I purchase fresh whole vegetables, hand wash under running tap water leaf by leaf, then sanitize in a bleach fresh tap water solution mix, leaf by leaf.
I don't trust anyone with fresh salad meals, but me.
