In my opinion being an ally comes with you giving up your privileges, a big one is disowning your racists family, yeah y'all not trying do that though. Also, having children with Black people doesn't give y'all passes nor an understanding of what Black American's go through. Bi-racial people /mixed and other ethnicities do not encounter the kind of HATE that Black American's do so please stop grouping us together as well. Lastly, despite what YOUR black friends tell you where you're from, growing up in the hood doesn't give y'all passes to a cookout or to say the n-word and that's a stereotype not a fact because a lot of come from middle class to suburban neighborhoods.

Is this supposed to be some sick trend? White guys taking out their only black friend on a boat and then making them swim back? I think that's exactly what's happening because earlier a video on TikTok went viral of a group of white guys who told their black friend to swim back after telling them he didn't know how to swim. He got a ride back from a nice loving family. Unfortunately, this isn't the same outcome and a poor teenager has died. This trend needs to be investigated deeply!!!

When people say that they don't see color, they ignore the very first thing they see on a person outside of being male or female. I'm Black, and I'll tell someone straight up "You BETTER see my color. Then let my color not matter."

I'm sorry those kids were not his friends. Black or not, I make sure my friends are accounted for on any day trip. They all come home safely or I'm at least there if something goes wrong. Accidents happen, but friends stick with you. Those kids were not his friends.
