I remember supporting a guy that had no sense of fear, he'd constantly test himself against it too. He'd do stupid stuff like keeping his hand on a hot plate for as long as he could. He just didn't have fear. He needed pushed and pushed to always tests his limits

I was a kid in the 70s and I had the evil Knievel stunt cycle end the rocket cycle that launched over the Snake River Canyon… you would wind those things up and let them rip
Kids nowadays would rip their fingers off with those High RPM gyros and those things
Evel Knievel wrecked more times on that stunt cycle More dramatically In my driveway… than he ever did in real life that's for sure!

I looked up to him for my entire childhood. Then I met him at the Ocean Center in Daytona just before he passed and fond out he was a major ass.
