Welcome to the end of humanity, courtesy of the greedy, motherfking, WORTHLESS billionaires whom don't give a damn about anything but their next super yacht.

Well it would help if organizations like NOAA hadn't been caught faking data for the better part of a decade. Guess they didn't think anyone would actually read the weather station audit reports. People found out that about 95% of the weather stationers were set up in a way to report higher temperatures than that they were in reality. Fun little tricks like putting the sensor right next to the building's HVAC exhaust. Or putting the sensor on a pole in the middle of a large parking lot.

But we’re shifting to renewable energy, right? Our overall greenhouse gas emissions has increased every year in the last twenty with two exceptions: the 2008 recession and the 2020 COVID pandemic.

There’s a clock in union square counting down to 2030. It’s almost here and everything seems fine. So many alarmists out there. World population is reversing. This will all take care of itself

In 2027 data centers will use MORE electricity than every single US household combined.
And you want me to believe global warming is real, when in reality it’s something much worse.
The magnetosphere is weakening, which will kill everything on the surface of the planet.

the problem is, there's nothing so functional, so effortless to use, so available, so easy to design and make than fossil fuels and combustion engines 🤷‍♂️
if it is more available it is less functional. if it is more functional it's too hard to design or manufacturer. if it's easy to make, easy to use, it's not available. if it's easy to make, easy to use, and widely available, it just doesn't make money 🤔🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

i love (from a morbid curiosity) that “civilizations in the future” isn’t specified on whether it means some fucked up mad max/neo-medieval feudalist human pockets or, as in advanced non-human civilizations who hypothetically have the tech/skills to even translate human english/other languages. makes it more eery.
