The mug showing up after saying yerba was next, oh no. They do sell teabags for mate but if you want it traditional, it should be in a hollowed out lil gourd where you put a bombilla in ( basically a metal straw with a filter on the bottom), then the leaf basically to the top i think, then pour hot water in without moving the bombilla (dont stir). It doesnt really steep so long as tea, and you just refill it til it loses flavor. I was told you like pass the gourd around anr refill with more hot water on each person, idk if its completely true.

I've never said this on youtube but I actually enjoyed the sponsored segment! Great to see you debunking myths about plant based meat alternatives, and I love the taste of beyond burgers lol. Love from England! 💚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌱

As a brit beans on toast is legit just one of the cheapest meals you can make to fill yourself up which is why its so widely eaten/popular rather than because it tastes incredible lol. I'd recommend doing a british snack review!!

this video genuinely got some real laughs outta me, your normal videos do too but this one was exceptional lol. Huge fan of your content <3

Edit: I just realized how generic and AI sounding this response is lol. Not AI I promise XD

2nd edit: Peri peri (or piri piri) is the spice that's on the nuts! it's a common spice sourced from mozambique and popularized in portuguese cuisine! consisting of paprika, African Bird's eye chiles, sugar and salt

I know a few argentinians and i've seen them make and drink mate. Firstly, hate the smell, smells like wet hay, secondly, they always drink it from a straw, not directly from the cup

Piri piri is like a weak spicy sauce. If you've ever heard of nando's, they do a thing similar to portuguese chicken and they're known to add peri peri sauce to it. Peri peri is how the brits say piri piri

I have never in my 33 years as a portuguese man have ever seen roasted pumpkin seeds for sale or anyone eating them.
Should've gotten a pastel de nata. Or to stick to the seeds theme, some sunflower seeds. Those suck tho

I love u and your content but in from Uruguay and thats not mate that is legit a crime, we drink it with a special straw that makes those leaves not come out when you drink it and it’s like maybe 10 mL of water each time you drink it’s all, you put a little bit of water and you drink that and then you put a little bit of water and you drink that and that’s how it works. That is not at all mate, it is a crime and I speak for Uruguay and Argentina. Plus you should have tried dulce de leche it’s the best.

About wanting horchata hot: i really think you would really like arroz con leche, its kinda the same thing but instead of being a drink its more of a dessert, I think you'll enjoy it,it is one of my favorite treats

Yes Tugg, I DID know what the Moroccan lemons were, and I WAS laughing hysterically when I saw you going straight to the mouth with it! Because I did the exact same thing the first time I got it 😬🤣!!! I was thinking it was like strawberry preserves. I was wrong lol!!!
