How Did the National Anthem Get So Difficult?
From Whitney Houston to Fergie, and all the way back to the quartets of the 1800s, it seems like no one sings the U.S. National Anthem in the same way. In this episode we take a look at the 200-plus-year history of The Star Spangled Banner, the turns it has taken along the way, and how the anthem turned into a pop diva showcase.
We also chatted with vocal coach @BethRoars to get her expert take on anthem vocal performances.

That Marvin Gaye NBA All-Star Game version should have charted. That said, could actually do without this stuff before sporting events.
