Wow! Abby, you've acquired so much knowledge, and have so much youthful, positive energy! And a delight to watch.

I'm going back in time. It's 1966. I'm in The Whiskey A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip. Tomorrow Never Knows is blasting through the PA. Flashing lights and psychedelic liquid projection. I see a go-go dancer in a cage, dressed in a belly dance costume and face paint. Is that you Abigail ?!!??

With the album Rubber Soul, the Beatles opened the door to experimentation and unique sounds. With Revolver, they kicked open the door the rest of the way 😀

George looks so much like Keith Richard on the back cover, that I used to wonder if it was really Keith. It would be like The Beatles to play little jokes on us fans, to see if anyone noticed.
I’ve really been into Revolver this past week. It always brings back the vibes of that strange dangerous summer of ‘66. The Paint It Black summer.

You're a godsend, Abigail. Thank you. "I Feel Fine" is my favorite song, but Revolver is my favorite Beatles record.

I was 11 when the album came out. My parents were jazz snobs, but mom’s younger co-workers were raving about the New Beatle record. She bought the record and we all sat and listened to side 2. The folks laughed it off, handed me the record and said, “Take it to your room.” Score. Meanwhile, your video was great, as usual.

You got something solid in Capricorn, or a powerful Saturn Gemini? You reverence for the historical record at this point is a support valve for instigating a revival of craft worthy art, as cats like me serve as sonic libraries we took in as infants rolling around in cars with the radio on, mid to late 70's. Computer music sucks. Maybe it's because Revolver entered my phones junior year high school, 1990, same time as Sailing The Seas Of Cheese by Primus. No wonder I enjoy greatly that the legacy of this disc includes John's son collaborating with Les Claypool. King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush and Led Zeppelin all came into my multi instrumental musicianship the first time my nodes reset, age 18.5 peak 1992.

wow. now i need to play revolver, listen again, and again, and hear your opening the flower of it again.

In 1969, at age 13, I heard the Beatles' McCartney tune For No One in a dream. Afterward, I spent months trying to figure out what this song was & where I'd heard it. Finding no answer, I decided I mind made it up, so I wrote down as much as I could remember & mailed it to myself (poor man's copywrite). Then, a few years later, I bought the album Revolver … & there it was, a completed Beatles tune. I was crestfallen.

I've long considered Revolver to be the greatest rock and roll album of all time.
