Cerebras has unique tech and sold track record in government and academic science HPC uses. Their software stack is very flexible with FPGA like capabilities to optimize for different types of workloads and models. It's a shame they are getting caught up with the OpenAI bubble scam.

OpenAI: Hey mind if we inflate your share price by committing to by your chips, will you give us some free shares which we can sell for cash flow or to inflate our value before we IPO – oh and your CEO gets a nice bonus for expanding the order book, even if ultimately we don’t actually meet the order.
Any Tech Co: Sure what could go wrong, it’s not like it’s effectively stealing shareholder cash so

    Wow
you are litterally shilling the shit that’s bringing about societal collapse.. hadn’t watched you in a while.. gonna unsub now.

I understand needing to make money but like come on..

Ngreedia blocked AMDs' attempt to acquire CUDA translation software in order to maintain a monopoly. Nasty company. Why for projects I specify open coding standards that run on multiple brands of GPUs.

18:15 "this creates a massive barrier to entry" – except if AI coding models work the way they constantly advertise, the barrier is gone. One of the things AI models are arguably good at is converting existing codebases to new language frameworks. CUDA's moat is narrow.

Sara Friar looks like she's going to end up in jail for securities fraud at some point. I am surprised she doesn't talk in a false baritone.

I find it very funny that the majority of your sponsors seem to not watch your videos as they are obviously built on top of the companies you constantly trash.

One thing you didn’t mention and which is key here is that g42 isn’t just some sovereign investment fund in tech/AI and real estate. It’s headed by the UAE national security advisor and head of intelligence
they are pumping money into their own ai models and whatnot because they want them to supercharge their state surveillance and military apparatus. The listing and OpenAI bullshit is just to gain more exposure to US investors as part of their wider campaign to buy influence with the trump admin

Yeah, sure, now they only need to support the proprietary CUDA language with they cannot. Thus, they have no chance but to implement ROCm from AMD, which is open but less supported and matured than CUDA.

2:34 if something is free YOU ARE THE PRODUCT. So a company I’ve never heard of is collecting sensitive company information from people to created PowerPoints for them? Yeah I don’t see how that can go wrong.

More than a few red flags seem to pop up from all of these AI, chip & data centre companies.
Thats the one common defining factor they all share. That and dishonest CEO's.

If AI is all that and a bag of potato chips, can't OpenAI just vibe up a new CUDA equivalent for their shiny new Cerebras chips? Will Cerebras chips be manufacturable at scale? The larger the chip die the higher chance it is affected by manufacturing defects. On a normal process they chop the wafer into many chip dies, so defects are localized to a smaller number of end products. As die size increases, yields decrease. Cerebras is playing a very silly game with yields.

Love the analysis here, super helpful to cut through some of the noise. I do wonder if this platform is actually capable of delivering equivalent service at a lower price point in terms of the operating costs vs Nvidia. Still unclear on that.

Silicon Valley needs to burn down with all of these loser Tech Bros and Gals in it. They have completely ruined Northern California. First with all of their progressive ideas and now by flipping to the other side of the coin. Seeking greed, control and corruption. F Silicone Valley and everyone that works there. Zero morality and even less humanity.
