Quick personal thing – recently I hit the one-year anniversary of becoming a full-time snare (i.e. going full time with the channel).

It’s turned out to be an incredible decision, and that’s in huuuuuuge part to all of you. I’m so thankful that you choose to spend your time with me and my videos.

THANK YOU for everything, and as always I hope you enjoy this vid!

I liked Geese as a concept & them feeling fresh/unique (sort of like Fontaines) but im ngl ever since learning about them being a psyop I just lost my eagerness to listen to them. I just can't, IDK.

Even when we, again, compare with Fontaines D.C, they were pushed by the good old "connections" (Arctic Monkeys), and Arctic Monkeys were pushed by Homme in AM era. But the difference is that we knew that. I knew that. I knew Lola Young was a nepo baby. I accepted these terms when listening to them. I didn't know Geese were quietly advertised like this, and it feels like a betrayal

anyway I listen to fanmixes by people and BTS (who I discovered through their documentaries and listened to the entire discography on my own so no clipping here).

interestingly, BTS are blacklisted in tiktok and every time one of their songs gets organically viral tktk makes all posts with it disappear.

Why would anyone take part in a “clipping campaign” where they MAY get 30 dollars for advertising something that’s guaranteed to make 12x as much? I’d be mad if I got paid pennies helping someone already sufficiently popular save money on the ads he could make himself.

you say to be a good artist is to be popular and 'play the game' of media advertising, but i think you are putting value to something that isn't always the case. if you want to be known internationally yes it's important to use social media but a LOT of artists are very good and not popular online
