    I find this video funny, since it has been proven that our hunter gatherer ancestors were extremely sendersry, sitting for up to 9 hours a day.

    So this means, people who sit in the car, motorcycle, bus, boat, train, helicopter, plane, especially for a long drive is dangerous right?

    Now, imagine if you sat on an exercise ball instead of a desk chair, constantly readjusting your core. How would this change the equation? I am guessing that it would have a positive affect on health outcomes. However, there would obviously be growing pains as the individual adjusts to sitting on this unconventional chair. They might even hurt themselves a few times. If this is a concern, perhaps a standing desk would better serve in dealing with the problems of 'being at a desk detrimentally affecting health outcomes'.

    People told me that exercise is important but no one told me that with or without exercise, sitting too much is bad for you. I'm so glad I have you and Greg to share this science with me and btw I watched this video years ago, I'm only commenting now
