Real Images of Ganymede Show That Something Is Seriously Off With This Moon

Fexl | November 4, 2026

Jupiter’s largest moon, Ganymede, was long assumed to be a silent, frozen tomb. But recent, unprecedented data from the James Webb Space Telescope and NASA’s Juno spacecraft have shattered that assumption. Ganymede is actually a violently active chemical engine.

Shielded by its own unique magnetic field, the moon features poles blasted by radiation to manufacture hydrogen peroxide, while its protected equator leaks complex organics and salts from a massive, hidden subterranean ocean. With the European Space Agency’s JUICE mission currently on its way to orbit the moon, we are on the verge of looking through the ice to see if this massive underwater world possesses the ingredients for life.

this is a bunch of made up bull shit. Current flow makes magnetic fields you just showed arouras on the poles of Ganymede that is caused by current flow and that make the magnetic fields, so there is no need for a "dynamo" for a planet to have a magnetic field , so dumb people are now days.😂

Humans what are they like, no realy?
After being proved wrong with their guesswork about almost everything in the recent past and even before, they still say stuff like something is off with a moon. Rather than admitting its their warped ideas that are way off. So it no wonder that people are now turning to Natural Philosophers of this world instead these day. As we come from a point of empirical plasma physics and common sense. So with this and other moons, doing exactly as expected and indeed predicted.

Having so much water out in the Solar system is going to be worth it's weight in gold in the not to distant future. The belt and various moons will be a fuel and oxygen stop as we populated the whole of the Solar system. Most of us wont see it, but it will eventually happen.

24:52 “An ocean probably larger than anything on Earth” is just mind-blowing. I love how much we're still discovering about these distant moons. Do you think the JUICE mission will find stronger clues about life beneath Ganymede's ice?

They have to keep the hope alive, you see, in order to keep the funding pouring in. The hope (we'll call it a Great Hope) is that life will be found, having randomly formed by chance through unguided chemistry alone, on some other world. And of course, careers, and many large, expensive programs, depend on that Hope.

Indeed, for more than 40 years I shared in that Great Hope, having read and embraced many of the great science fiction writers of the 19th and 20th centuries. Such writings have a way of triggering the imagination of a young man, after all, even at the expense of reason and of self-interest.

For when it comes to science fiction, we too often allow ourselves to be convinced that it is more "sciencey" than "fictiony". The term itself, then, is one designed to stimulate and encourage flights of fancy. Yet, in a rational mind, those two words belong together about as much as "truth" and "error". Indeed, a reasonable synonym for "science fiction" would be "truth lies", or "real fake".

It has been my thesis, for some time now, that, after having failed to find real life elsewhere, and having become desperate enough (this will take some time still), the space science industry will eventually try to fake it. We're already seeing such hype that the step, over the line, to outright fraud would, at this point in history, be a very small one.

It's embarrassing. You few, real scientists in the business must be pretty sick of it.

The purveyors of the Great Hope certainly cannot admit defeat, but they certainly can delay the inevitable for a rather long time to come, there being no clearly definable end to the search, you understand.

A convincing hoax, which will become more tempting as time wears on, would most likely require some international cooperation (we can call it conspiracy, for such it would be). Such cooperation could be difficult to organize, but the conditions and the incentives may be coming together to a point where such cooperation might be induced.

And let's not rule out demonic cooperation, either. Desperate times, after all, often require desperate measures, or so it is said by criminals, the ignorant, the fearful, and those who simply love evil and seek to justify it.

For life to exist on Ganymede doesn't it need more than water and chemicals that form from H2O2? How is DNA being created independently of earth? Or even proteins or amino acids. Once you look into that microbiology the "conceivable might exist" becomes "defies any rational conception of possibility." Not holding my breath for that, but the astronomy is interesting to the imagination.
