Semester at Sea is the best.
I was on the Spring 1982 voyage.
Life changer…I too, was a work study student. Got a massive discount. The voyages of today are a bit shorter. We went: Florida, Spain, ;Marocco, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Suez canal to India, Sri Lanca, Manilla, Hong Kong, Taipei, South Korea, Japan, across the Pacific back to Seattle.

Unfortunately it’s not nearly as cool anymore. Now it doesn’t go to as many places and the boat is dry. If you go back to the boat and they decide you’re too drunk they throw you in a jail cell for 6 hours (not kidding).

I did Semester at Sea in 2008 …our voyage was 109 days..we had the record for the longest trip at the time. I worked in the computer lab. I love how this is still mindblowing to people. It's been around for so long…lol
