There's No reason for Dave to include his rendition of Ride the Lightning truely a Metallica classic Unless Dave really did wish to be some kind of glory hound

Mustaine is truly talented, BUT you have to wonder how much better Metallica would have been if he wasn’t booted. Three huge mistakes Mustaine has made in his great career- not hired a lead singer w/ a powerful voice, treated members of his band like shit & never ending bitterness for being fired from Metallica. Megadeth is as good or better than Metallica IMO. It’s a shame Dave can’t stop the bitterness, similar to Sammy Hagar can’t stop talking’s about Van Halen.

Somebody needs to create a modern day Celebrity Death Match !
Let's see Dave and Kirk swing guitars at eachother!
How about Sabatian Bach getting beat down by Skid Row!
Shit…who wouldn't love to see Jake E Lee tying up Sharon Osbourne in the ropes and making her sign the check for his Bark at the Moon royalties?!
    The possibilities are endless!

My Brother and I fought like dogs and cats … we couldn't work on anything ( Motorcycles ) but we would knock a guy out who hurt the other . I'm older and I remember the day ( I"m the older son ) and I told my brother to do something and he looked at me and said ( SCREW YOU I DON'T WHAT YOU SAY !!!! ) and I laughed and I thought he's gonna be alright . It's the same with Dave and James….the respect is there they just became their own men . That's how real men are . PK

And I still go back to Megadeth albums more often and prefer them. The first four albums from Metallica are good, but the black album is just a sore ear. And what's next?

They say that the best is to end. Metallica should have ended a long time ago, for me it ended after the Black Album. I will miss Megadeth, but they will leave behind a lot of brilliant music.

Well, I'd like that everyone stop saying that Mustaine will "cover" Ride the L. It's not a freaking cover because he wrote it with the rest of Metallica at the time! So, not a cover! 😁. It will be different for sure. I can't wait to see what his version of that classic is gonna be. 🤘🏼

Nothing wrong with him announcing to the world his involvement with Metallica one last time before retiring. They ARE one of the biggest bands in music history and Dave's extremely proud that he was a part of it in his youth. Not just a basic part of it either. Dude co-wrote some of their most legendary songs.

Dave wrote Ride the Lightning the guitar parts at least so it’s by all rights he wrote the Mechanix and Metallica used it for the The Four Horseman so it’s only right he does one of the old songs he wrote in Metallica
