Jeremie Albino, “All These Days,” // GemsOnVHS™
Well folks, another installment from my time touring the West coast of the USA/Canada with Jeremie Albino and Benjamin Dakota Rogers as they did some opening gigs for Sierra Ferrell. Last time I was in this northern California landscape was with ole Jesse Daniel back in 2019 (https://youtu.be/NL6Hdh6hUAM). Good times, and our triumphant return is with no less a troubadour in Jeremie. Spirits were high as we blew through Seattle, Portland, Vancouver and Idaho. All places i’d never been, and there’s no better company than these guys. First time seeing those giant redwoods too – truly a wonder of nature, and the tunes bounced off the ancient bark like a living amphitheater. Just a short stop, and on we go.

Big fan of his and this one is great. I still can’t get over how well y’all hide mics (is there a lavalier somewhere in his lapel or hidden on top of guitar?) to get that vocal capture but my goodness is this song (and audio) killer. 🫡

I saw redwoods for my first time at Prairie Creek Redwoods state park, a year ago in June. I had seen pictures of them, but it was hard for me to really wrap my mind around the magnitude of those forests until I was there, dwarfed by the size of those wonderful giants. Truly a humbling experience.
