The Guru Rages: Ozzy Osbourne Is The Next Joe Biden

The Hair Metal Guru | January 9, 2026

With news of the impending Black Sabbath final reunion show, and Ozzy’s ability to perform in SERIOUS doubt, I was struck by the resemblance between Ozzy’s Situation and that of our former president.

Very well said. 👏 Btw, I would consider Tony Iommi more the "creator" of heavy metal. Ozzy never wrote any music or lyrics at any point of his career. He was only the "voice" for Sabbath. I'm not downplaying his significance in metal history, but Iommi and Butler were way more involved in creating the Sabbath sound and in writing the songs. As far as Sabbath performing, I'd love to see Tony Martin out there with them again. He's very underrated as a metal vocalist and recorded some amazing albums with them. Of course Sharon would never allow it.

With all due respect I wanted to point out the fact that you act like Ozzy doesn't have a say in all this… As if he's always done what Sharons wanted. If Ozzy wants to do this, I think we owe it to him to make his own decisions. I mean common people… This could quite possibly be his dying wish. We all know how he feels about his fans. Whether or not he sings one verse, or is merely on stage to give a statement or just let out a fart, let the man go out on his own terms! Payday, my ass! I believe 1000% Ozzy wants to try to do this for himself and his fans. He's a grown man, and an icon. I would never try to rob him of either of those things.

I agree, I do feel bad for him. It's sad. Yes maybe he wants to do this but I honestly wonder if it will push him to the grave quicker. I think maybe he wants to do it for his fans. I know they said all profits are going to charity but of course they said profits, not proceeds. So I think people are being paid, maybe most bands are not but I bet some are, it's why the tickets are expensive as they have to give a large donation to charity so of course the wages won't be cheap so of course they need to charge a high fee. Bet your dollar she will make this a regular thing. I wouldn't be surprised if the event becomes a tribute event as maybe he won't be with us by the time.

Ozzy's been known for his past resilience, but it's pushing the line too hard for the poor old bloke. He cemented his legacy and then some, let him rest for his own sake.

I really believe if it were up to Ozzy he would have retired in 1992 at the end of the No More Tours tour, the original one. Around that time I remember Ozzy saying if he continued on then his next album and tour would be around 1994 or 95 and that would be the last thing he wanted to be doing at age 46! So if he already didn't want to do it anymore at 46, there's no way he wants this at 76, it's all Sharon.

I’ve been saying the same thing guru! I can’t pretend to be excited about this at all. Remember when they pulled the rug out from under the original lineup for 13 and all of the sudden Bill Ward was too fat or out of shape to play…yet no one said anything about Ozz, who has had needed backup singers offstage since at least 95! Crazy. The time for this was after the 99 Reunion album. They should’ve done a proper album after that, then go their separate ways!

Agree with all you said but it’s all too late for that, Sharon will continue to draw blood from that rock long after Ozzy is gone, and furthermore maybe I missed read this but I thought this was about the 4 original members to play one last time and it’s turned into this all about Ozzy thing no disrespect but Tony and Bill have their own health issues to deal with. If you watch that interview with Tony and Sharon you can tell he is doing his best from speaking out of turn like he knew this was not what it was being portrayed and Sharon leading the whole interview so that it didn’t leak out what really is going to go down. If I was Black Sabbath I would bring Tony Martin in to sing to save face with their fans. All the other bands will make this a tremendous day of music everyone will walk away happy

ozzy owes us nothing if anything he should sit front row with his family and watch is solo band with guest singers and the sabs with guest singers do their sets and enjoy the day and maybe getting into a throne and close out the show and sing paranoid if he feels he must do it again he owes us nothing and gave us everything over the decades

Spot-on The Hair Metal Guru!!! My take on this Black Sabbath cluster-fuck? Sadly it kinda looks like many BS/Ozzy fans have a bad case of Psychosis, and are not in touch with reality!

Tom morello is a hypocrite liberal commie twat. He’s raging against the oppressive machine that lets him stay at the Waldorf & make millions. Let Tony Martin sing for Sabbath at this show I say

I'll reserve my judgment until I see him play I suppose in war pigs he does nothing for 10 min. . In early sabbath he just stood there. I tried to get a ticket on the first day they say it's sold out. Ita not. they haven't released many tickets yet. Anyway slayer and lots of others are playing so it will be brilliant.

This is Sharon’s last tug of the money tit before her Cash Cow snuffs it.

After advertising it as Black Sabbath’s farewell performance, (heard that many times before), slapping an extortionate price tag on the tickets and then selling them all, they have now announced he will be doing only ‘bits and pieces’ . We all knew Ozzy would never be able to do a full set, but I have my doubts that he will be able to do anything on the day, but appear on stage and wave at people.

I get it’s for sharity, (not a mistype), but this being done for all the wrong reasons and damn it is putting his health a greater risk.

I live about 20 minute drive from Birmingham, but couldn’t get a ticket. They should ‘big screen’ it in the centre of the city.

I love 1980s and 1991 Ozzy. The tickets for the gig in Birmingham this summer sold out in a mere 16 minutes. Following that they finally came out saying that Ozzy will only do "bits and pieces", probably meaning that a roadie will wheel him out on stage, he will wave to the crowd, then leave. Gullible fans have paid £200 for a few seconds of Joe Biden metal in the city where it all began.

Sad for sure. Let the man retire and stop the abuse. It was sad years ago for the Sabbath reunion, to see them lead him out, "connect" him to the mic, where he just stood and held on. It was truly sad. This could be deemed elder abuse for sure.

"Is there anyone who doesn't love Ozzy?" Well, no one can question his role in the history of heavy metal, he was part of its inception. And he has been part of incredible music. But he and Sharon took so much of the credit and money from the first four Ozzy solo albums, when people like Bob Daisley did so much of the writing and ended up getting cut out, there are a lot of issues.

I’m not an Ozzy fan but why would anyone want to see something like this , in his state 🤷🏻‍♂️and big charities donations don’t really go for a cure and also for tax write offs

Agreed…I can't believe Ozzy made it to the age he has after all the abuse he's done to his body. I hate to say it but I don't think he'll see 80. Ozzy needs to take it easy. Sharon doesn't care about him.

Truth bombs. Thank you for having the courage to talk about these things. It's absolutely crucial to have transparency- something that has been lacking in America for a long time 🇺🇸
