Man, this one unlocked every childhood December in a single viewing. Snoopy decorating like he was on HGTV still gets me every time! Which fact surprised you the most — the blue doghouse, the Coke signs, or the blanket drop?
Don’t forget to subscribe, and share this with the friend who still does the Peanuts dance every time the piano riff hits.

That is the single most stupid thing I've heard. I grew up with a beagle and just assumed he was 'Wooing' whist they sing, as beagles are apt to do.

I have watched this Christmas special since it aired 60 years ago! I don't want to have to pay to watch this National Treasure! I absolutely love the music for this special! Have you seen how many YouTube videos this year real people are dancing the dance segments of this holiday special?

This was wonderful!! Thank you @Remember When! Every time I hear the Vince Guaraldi soundtrack I feel pure delight and joy~especially "Skating" ⛸⛸!! I didn't know Lucy was based on Mrs. Schulz. That's rough😑"opposites attract" as they say.

You asked for our favorite Peanuts character, and I responded right away with "Snoopy!!"
My fave, by far. I even have a Facebook post from 2019 proclaiming Snoopy as my hero!

Then along comes your Weird Fact #2, Snoopy is the secret star of the show! The backbone. The Spirit. The Heart. Of the entire special. I agree!

The reason I proclaim my Snoop dog as my hero is his attitude. Always letter perfect. Joe Cool, the WWI flying Ace, Woodstock's pal, Chuck's pet dog, his doghouse and how he slept on top! Philosophical. Resourceful. Silly. Manic. Mocking (usually of Lucy). Optimistic. Heroic.
Why heroic? Snoopy always seems to save the day, flip the mood, change everything. Snoopy has Power, and he does it wordlessly. Brilliant!! 🥳🤩👏🏼👏🏼
    My Hero!

I'm 68 and have been watching this every year. I've found a box set with all of them so now I can watch them anytime. I agree with the sentiment of all the comments here , it's not Christmas without Charlie Brown!

Wow, surprised by the CocaCola sponsorship built into the show!!😮 Also, surprised by the sells of aluminum tinsel trees tanking following the airing of the show! Wow!! I actually have a vintage tinsel tree from the 1960’s and I love it. I love vintage things. I have a large realistic artificial tree as well now that all of our children are grown. We always had a live tree when the kids were all living at home. 😊

Thanks! Love the Peanuts ❤ And just watched it for Christmas – Schroeder was my favorite as a kid, coz he was so cool. Now it surely is Charly Brown 😊 The most beloved blockhead on this planet, I guess 🎉

I have a 4 foot vintage tinsel tree. I bought from an artist friend who had just collected a 6 ft one.

Gramma had one when I was little. Even the disc. Nobody knows where it went. 😢
