When I was growing up in the 70's we had a DJ playing music at lunch time at our High School. Man, he played a lot of Sly and The Family Stone, the Stand Album. Our school was predominantly White students and Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Rolling Stones were the favorite. But Sly and The Family Stone was everyone's favorite.

Love: Forever Changes is my favorite LP. The Rascals' Groovin' LP is incredible. I interviewed a lot of these bands.

I remember a bit of the rascalls.
The Hollies deserved more attention because of their quality singing and composing specially Allan Clarke who still stands for quality.

The only people who have forgotten these bands are the radio stations that used to play their music every day. Now they play absolute gibberish and pass it off as music.

Eric Burdon and George Harrison each would have made great Vulcans. They should have done cameo roles as Vulcans on Star Trek.
