It's easy for me to avoid hearing a Taylor Swift song, Michael Jackson on the other hand, I still hear. I never listen to her, she is meaningless to me.

about ice melting indirectly from plates: what do you think has more rigid structure for the waves to rotate, ice or ceramics?

When the Beatles broke up on 1970, the population of the earth was estimated between 3.6-3.7 billion (just over 200 million in the US) … today we’re sniffing 9 billion (350 million in the US) … so, Taylor Swift is probably not as proportionally popular as The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, etc.

AI needs something to be trained on … if it trained on itself (even on competitive models) the loop with reduce to a single song, something like an androgynous Taylor Swift.

I don't think AI will be the killing blow to music, but it will definitely change the industry quite significantly.

15:02 I usually put the stuff simply not-centered on the plate, so every part definitely will travel in circles and even when it had a bad spot on the plate in the beginning, it will leave it and even get hotspots

Don't put your food directly in the middle of the spinning plate, if it's centralized the center point of the food technically doesn't move around it just rotates in place. Setting your food to the edge of the microwave where it covers the most area it'll hit more water molecules and evenly distribute the heat better

You should make a segment of the Lightning round called “Just Google It” because most of these questions (like the one about Snopes) could easily be found by just googling it….. exactly as you did onscreen.

Sorry I got behind on my YouTube watchings due to Tarkov going 1.0, but I'm catching up… Sure, you're not a scientist, and even though I did a science degree, I'm not a scientists either, but you are a communicator. An exceptionally good one. You're smart enought o distil the knowledge you research into something you can articulate in your own unique way, and i LOVE that. Many channels your "size" (whatever that means) go full production budget and try for the 10's of millions, you could absolutely do this, but I prefer your style, and I miss your little gag videos with 6 of you. You are you and no AI or overproduction will be more you than you. Keep being you bro, you got this. <3 Jib

Radio frequency electrical engineer here, just to shed some more light on the mysterious microwave oven. What Joe said is almost all correct, so good job on that. I have just looked up specifically the "microwave oven heating up stuff only on the outside" part, even though I have studied a bunch of very closely related stuff for years.
The jist is, that the rotating plate pretty much solves the standing wave creating hotspots problem, but microwaves just cannot get very deep into food in general. For most foods the penetration depth is about 0.5-1.5 cm, so the outer layer down to this much below the surface is where the vast majority of the heat is generated. The inside of a large piece of food can ONLY be heated up by some other warmer part of the food that is closer to the surface. To heat up the center of a large piece of food, you just have to give it some time for the heat to spread around. This is why the donut shape helps, because in it there is no part of the food that would be very far away from the surface layers that actually receive the microwave energy. And this is also why doing the heating for longer at lower power helps, it just gives the heat to reach the inside with heat conduction through the material of the food, while you are not blasting the outside so much that it gets burned. If you take a big piece of lasagna and microwave it for 10-15 minutes at lower, say 400 W power, then it will be just like freshly cooked.
People somewhat misleadingly say that the microwave heats up food from the inside. One would imagine that then the center of a piece of lasagna would be the hottest. They say this, because this penetration depth of around 1 cm is much, much longer than for infrared light (radiant heat) which is on the order of micrometers, thinner than a width of a hair.
You can look up specifics here about the penetration depths of some particular common foods, there is some good info in table 3 in the last column: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4657497/
Happy microwaving!
