Based on the thumbnail, I thought one of the mysteries was Dan Rather's "What's the frequency, Kenneth?" mugging. Apparently it was solved.

Toole and his partner-in-crime Henry Lee Lucas were serial confessors. They often confessed to crimes they never committed because they wanted to sound more big time than they truly were.

The only good thing that came out of this case is the safety and precautions that were changed with products and made people to be more aware of what they take off the shelves.

The disappearance Jolene Lakey, age 11, who disappeared in Scranton, Pennsylvania 1986.
Frank Osellanie is believed to be the most likely suspect in the case plus the 1978 disappearance if Joanne Williams, 22, and the 1987 murder of Laureen Finn, 19. Osellanie was later convicted of the 1989 rape and murder of Renee Waddle, 9, and died behind bars in 2020, the same year an anonymous letter was sent to the city newspaper from a possible witness to a murder that may have been Lakey.

Adam Walsh's poor mother. I can't imagine living with the memories of that day and what she should have done and not done. I would stay drunk for the rest of my life if that happened to one of my children while I was supposed to be watching them.

The Tylenol murders were a phenomena of the time. These days no one could get away with that considering the number of CCTV cameras around and inside stores.

My mom remembers the colonial partway murders. On the way back from the Yorktown beach, we rode thru the parkway, it was scary knowing the history of it.
