The gas phosphine, made on Earth by microbial life forms, was found in Venus’ atmosphere. Could this mean there’s life in our planetary neighbor’s clouds?

Sci fi crazy possibility: Martians lived from 1 million bce – 500,000 bce, sucked out significant chunks of Mars’ core and made giant space crafts. Before leaving the solar system, didn’t want humans living on habitable poles of Venus, so smacked the Venusian world in a glancing blow with a large object, causing it to slowly rotate backwards while also severely damage the crust, thereby releasing large quantities of lava/greenhouse gases, resulting in the condition it is in today.

Carl Sagan was right, about the possibility of life in Venusian clouds. And he was observing UV reflections, not phosphene. Put together, these 2 different lines of evidence show that microbial life is more probable than not

This is very robust and a theory but if the clouds of Venus contain micro droplets of sulphuric acid and co2 , there could a sort of bacteria that has survived the conditions of Venus and is reproducing slowly and the waste material is the chemical mentioned

It might be the atmosphere that has capabilities to produce phosphine without life, they should not claim the presence of life on venus by just knowing that only life can produce phosphine. We should think from all the angles possible.

If there are microbes in the atmosphere of Venus, they are most likely from Earth. The probes probably delivered them.

I made the Phosphine. It was me. I went up to the First Class bathroom because that was the only one I saw, and I just let it rip.
