I love your reviews, and this one is as hilarious as the others, but I guess this time you missed a point. It seems that the lack of chemistry between the characters was on purpose, to show that this was NOT a love story – this was an inmate conning a sad, lonely woman who could help him scape.
I can actually imagine this happening in real life.

It came to my feed a few other times but I didn't really watch it, other than one video like last year or so. But now that I'm really watching it I hate I didn't watch sooner.

She realised she had made a mistake and ruined her life, so she took herself out so she doesn't have to go prison and when released, start her life all over again. I would taken myself out too.

Both movies, as bad as they are, have accurate depictions of how quick and irrational these connections are. The inmate designates a mark (female CO's can be lonely with only a cat), tell other inmates to watch while it plays out. I've seen it first hand. It's prevalent in Oklahoma.

Whew, this is one of the reasons I’m all for robots doing dangerous human jobs where secretly broken people can cause some very serious situations. It could only have been a love story for her, for him it was a ticket out, a poor lonely soul he could manipulate and use and he would’ve thrown her away eventually had it not gone this way, possibly with the same result. And I’m with you, WMC is one of my fave actresses I wish we’d see more of.
