1:00 actually the main way microwaves cook your food…is by heating the water and boiling the food in a way..the heat transfers from the water to the rest of the food. that is why it's good to let it stand for a bit so the food is heated evenly

Someone on tumblr tested what happens when you activate your heat receptors with capsaicin and your cold receptors with menthol at the same time. According to the intrepid citizen scientist, those two things do NOT cancel each other out and it’s a uniquely terrible experience to have your mouth be both too hot and too cold at the same time.

Some of what was said of the statues wasn't true. It is actually one of the pharaohs that was forgotten about, specifically a woman. Someone believed she didn't deserve this because she was a woman and try to destroy any remaining history including her statues. But it took so much effort to even try to tear down the statue that he died before he could even destroy the head.
