Am I Allowed To Criticise This Without Getting Backlash?!

Justin Hawkins Rides Again | September 4, 2025

Occasionally my producer sends me the latest pop smash HIT, to see what my reaction to it might be. Today it’s Meghan Trainor’s latest single “Mother”.I feel like I hate this…but part of my brain can’t stop enjoying how catchy it is, but we shall put this down to it sampling another famous song. However, what is this song even about? I don’t understand?

I know you have your world. I'm respectful, non judgemental. Intelligence is one key. Heart another. I haven't been paying attention to the video. My brain is lighting up with what's been done to me. Funny how Mr. Sandman is the back drop to discovery. Thank you.

Justin, it was the Gildan cat t-shirt I was talking about with the flying saucers on it that would tie in well with The Darkness design if you wanted to collaborate with them or not. I am not affiliated with them. I am a business minded lady who loves the band that's all. I was exempt from my Marketing final because I had finished with a 100 percent grade. Not bragging. Just verifying my credentials. I sing. That's what I love. I didn't know I had such a voice.

I think this is making fun of women who accuse men of mansplaining while acting like a royal queen mother, sabotaging potential romance for a brief feeling of power.

Though it's a little late. The term has been out of favor for at least a couple of years since it has been proven a million times over that women mansplain just as much as men, if not more, and therefore tacking "man" on the term is just ultrafeminists being sexist and self-sabotaging instead of moderately tolerant.

It really is no wonder that the population in America stopped growing and men started becoming misogynist recluses screaming at their computer monitors.

I'm only at 6:21 and as far as "mansplaining" I can tell you exactly what it is! It's RUBBISH! BULLSHYTE! And simply another way for a mental weakling to attempt to control others by trying to make what the focus of THEIR outrage says or does seem wrong in some STUPID way! Think about it and imagine if we put every single comment, remark, quote, reason, excuse or explanation from every single feMALE under ONE term called "feMALE splaining" and used the term derogatorily!! Why this would end up with the creation of an entire new feMALE rights movement!! Another 100 years of outraged, antisocial bullshite coming from woman libbers all over the world burning their panties in town squares everywhere!!

Id never heard of Megan Trainor, but i subscribe to you so i will have to admit, being brought up originally on 70s pop music, i really like this. So much so i bought the album.
If you forget the lyrics for a moment, the production and arrangement are brilliant.
Thanks and keep up the good work 😊
PS, i also love Rush, Black Sabbath, Zappa, Cardiacs, Yes, Pink Floyd, Talk Talk, Jeff Buckley and several hundred other artists.
