Takes it like a champ. I honestly have no idea who this man is, beyond South Park and some very superficial details like him being the former VP. But honestly, he seems like a pretty intelligent, down to earth kinda guy, who can laugh at himself. Unlike some other US presidents I could mention.

Thing is that Manbearpig is an allegory for problems that you know are there but because people cannot see them they do not believe in them (global warming) which is why when it came out no one believed him but now with the advancements in tech they have been able to prove that its way hotter now than itnwas 10 years ago. So Manbearpig is real.

They still make fun of Al Gore for the whole 2 episodes. It does not paint Al Gore in a flattering light. A proud man would have been insulted by such a depiction. The one thing they do take seriously though is the threat of ManBearPig (Global Warming). Al Gore's reaction to the depiction shows that his concern for Global Warming was honest and wasn't about fame. He doesn't care if it makes him look dumb, as long as it shows Global Warming is cereal.

For those that might not know ManBearPig is an alagory for global warming, they basically said "he is wrong, global warming isn't real" when more evidence came forward and it was hard to deny global warming was an issue then Matt and Trey decided to go back and aknowledge their mistake and apologise in universe. That also meant ManBearPig was now a character the kids could encounter on their "adventures"
