you, yes you, you are not reading this, but your mind is only pretending to read this. this is the point in your life that your mind will tell you this. because you are concious, you exist, you are the protagonist of this world, do whatever the hell you want with it. Because in the end, nothing will matter.

I don't think this is a psychological condition. Aren't the realizations the truth? I feel like the other times we are too blind. We don't know what's behind us or the universe. We are too busy chasing things while we forget to think about what are we, how are we made. What's the purpose of the mankind? And having depersonalization is valid and the normal thing right? Idk someone told me that I feel this as normal coz I'm abnormal. For a abnormal person abnormality is normal. I would love to hear opinions.

If someone now promises to me that I will always have an ok-crappy 9-5 job for the next 30+ years I might stop seeing a point in life. – a random 32yo broke "manager"

The world… 99% of the people I know… "Hate" their jobs too, BUT are willing to keep having a crappy job until 67 or so. I find it UNACCEPTABLE. Are they crazy or am I ?! Fyi I'm 32 stuck at a crappy manager job. I'm broke and hate it.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always lived as a spectator of the world, whether it be traumatic experience or love, I’ve never had any of it, yet have always yearned for that hole in my heart to be filled, I’ve been raised normally, I’m good at repeating a script, and I can be imaginative, but that hole in my soul has always been empty, there is no rationality or irrationality in my mind, and the concept of past and future are just the excuse I made up to excuse it

read Frankl and he sounds like he was quite delusional at points, and for obvious reasons. Just because he was able to think in the way he thought is baked into his cake – some may share such a bake others do not – none of this is chosen

Interesting take on life's experience at such a young age 🙏 And as a 73 year old it warms my heart with a feeling of hope. One question arises though. Is intuition more valuable than intellect & was Heidegger's 'thrownness' idea subconsciously prompted by the neuro-linguistic projections of our 'trance-state' Beliefs-about-Reality? Are we just another foolish generation seeking 'signs', to paraphrase a famous Apocalyptic Philosopher?
