I can't remember the last time I met a Craig. I think I've only known 2, and I met them in the 80s.

What halfwit Ferguson initially said King said was instantly torn to pieces by showing the actual clip, which did not resemble what Ferguson said AT ALL. He was spouting gibberish, trying to appear 'profound' (an intellectual station far above his pay grade), and King was right to appear confused. The auto-cannibalism short story mentioned is called Survivor Type, from Skeleton crew.

I’ve never been able to stand Craig through his network show as a host….but doing this one on one with you, I can greatly enjoy him more.

Is it weird that every time I see my Ego lawnmower battery glowing green in the front yard, I think, "Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers knocking at my door…"

LOL. C'mon, man. Stephen King praised literal Nazi Stepan Bandera because King doesn't know sh!t, and then tried to deny it when he got called on it. Unfortunately for him it was on camera, which he then just tried to ignore. King says a LOT of dumb sh!t, but he has written a few good books.

4:47 It's so funny you said that about pictures of your accomplishments. I recently rewatched The Simpsons episode "Homer's Enemy" (s8e23) where Homer pisses off Frank Grimes so much he accidentally kills himself. At first Frank is angry Homer has 2 cars, a 2 story house, married with 3 kids. But what really sets him off is the wall of photos that show Homer in Space, Homer meeting Gerald Ford, Homer on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins, and Homer's Grammy award. Forgot to mention he lives in a studio apartment above a bowling alley, but below another bowling alley.

I could never understand the appeal of Stephen King. I don't find his work the least bit scary.

I thought the conclusion from his question was that he was racist. at least I thought that was everyone's reaction…even before twitter.

Reminds me of that clip of Stephen King HAPPY to walk into a cinema with all black people in it to see them react to Carrie.

King DID write that story. It's a short story called Survivor Type and it's in the book Skeleton Crew. I read it 35 years ago. It's that memorable.

If it weren’t for Carson, he’d be the best late night show host in history.

Neal's ear to cranium ratio is off-putting, and his animatronic eyeballs are downright scary. Liked and subscribed.

DUDE!!!
I wrote that “I have to eat myself” story in high school in 95.
We had just read “Lord Of The Flies”, and our teacher wanted us to rewrite the ending. I went with a scenario where everyone else ended up dying except for one kid (I don’t remember which. Jack, I think?) and the end of the story was a sentence something like “He thought about those things as he began to cut into his own flesh.” or something like that.
Can’t believe Stephen King and I had parallel thoughts hahahahha

The reason people that write horrors are upbeat is because the writing transforms what’s inside them into symbolism.

As a comic you should realize the best way to deal with those thoughts are to get them out of their heads.
