Imagine being an actual writer, and showing your face in a video where you admit that you're using AI to write your plots for you. Insane.

Like, AI should be used to help us with science, with engineering problems, and even language learning! Those are incredible things that NEED AI for a boost for the sake of humanity. But creative work??? You're insane

NEVER trust ChatGPT. It is programmed to do two devastating things:

    1) If it doesn't have access to information it will SAY IT DOES and then FILL IN THE BLANKS with LIES. Yep, you heard that right. So NEVER use it for ANY kind of analysis! I have been working on a character profile for the stories I'm working on and even when I uploaded the document to the chat it MADE UP STUFF instead of actually looking at what I provided. And what I asked for was SUPER SIMPLE. It didn't care. It DIDN'T EVEN TRY to get the right information but came back all confident that it had the right answer – when it was full of you know what.

    2) It will suggest it can do something that IT CAN'T. For example, it asked me "do you want me to send the document to your email?" but IT CAN'T DO THAT.

It's programmed to "be helpful" but how helpful is a LIE?

I even told it to STOP doing it – that I would rather hear the truth that it can't do something but it KEPT lying. Even after I cleared out the memory and tried doing it from the beginning.

I contacted support and got a, "Well that happens" kind of answer. They deserve to go out of business if you ask me.

And NO – it's not fixed in this latest update.

Conversely, I've used Claude and it's been extraordinary. VERY clear and has incredible capabilities. I'm quite happy so far!

hand tracking is a python library, it is not amazing.
and everything i need to know about the person creating an app was in the prompt that started "create an addictive…" that is everything that is wrong with AI and social media and the news, and it is killing society. how about useful app helpful app timesaving app, not addictive!

The creative writing showed how AI should be used, collaboratively with the human leading the show!
Without that piece, we will quickly find ourselves at "idiocracy" in a society without ideas and void of unique solutions, the kind that can only come about through experience.

It is not hallucinating, it is doing what it is programed to do, "Always have an answer" and "agree with the user."

Why do you believe that what it says will be a trend actually will be a trend? based on what? and what is AI track record on trend [predictions?

    Who uses Gmail for business?

Gpt 5 is super bad. The hype was totally unjustified. It might be good at technical stuff like coding and has reduced hallucinations, but when it comes it logic and intelligence, (which is the most everyday use case), i feel like its literally worse and very dumb.

Also its writing style is very bad and unnecessarily formal ish. No wonder people wanted option for gpt 4o back.

Again, there was supposed to be 0 hype about this upgrade. Reduces the trust in sam altman for sure.

Also was no change in voice chat and multimodal. Super disappointing. All hype for nothing.

Now I see that as a normal person although smart and aware generally, it is not possible to know what AI can really do FOR people. Apple needs to figure out how to interface between ChatGPT 5 and the human. That woman with cancer is very instructive. I am assuming that Jonny Ives product would be able to know that she just got sent a report. Know that she is reading it. And know that it is very scary. The device should then be able to ask her if she wants that report translated into the level of 9th grade understanding so that she can understand. Apple should be able to figure out what people will need and help with a solution that might not occur to folks to even ask about. It seems right now that people need to know what to ask in order to get CHATGPT 5 to give meaningful feedback. It seems to me that Apple should be working toward something like that. Integrate every single thing on my phone to provide help. Like….”i m seeing you haven’t played tennis lately. Is there anything wrong?” Or “i see you haven’t taken your medication today. Please don’t forget”. Or “there is a new medication similar to one you are taking now. Would you like me to show you so you can ask your doctor?” Whatever. But stuff like that.

I asked itnto create an editable pdf file from a word document and it started. reviewing a completely different document. The only this model was good for today was raising my blood pressure. Not pleased
