Trump Brags About Attending Ivy League: “I’m Real Smart”

huh, magnificent hardware let down by poor user interface design and implementation? you don't say!?
tbh, though, Zoom doesn't have a monopoly on this. you had a rant earlier about how Apple could charge twice as much for basically the same capability hardware as Google, and wondered why. This ^^ is why. Android is a shitty UX and poorly implemented. iOS is not.

Google pixel 2 XL $1,000!!! Thinking of getting my first pre-owned pixel phone in 2025. How far we have come technology. And I'm here to see if it's worth picking up one of these for cheap for my kids (well me, but they get it if I can't use it).

It's cheap because it has crappy software, it's a big problem.

Thankyou Benn – I bought this "on your above recommendation "

I dust it off; connect it up; turn it on and leave it murmuring away on the coffee table when I have guests over – it replaces Madonna's 1992 book "Sex", and no one (or perhaps everyone), develops performance anxiety…

Does one of the newer novation circuit family do what you're wanting this to do? Circuit sample eg..?

This actually seems really powerful. Did they ever release updated firmware? It's a bit like my OG circuit in sound but with way more polyphony.
The ring seems like a bit of a gimmick, but for live performance I can see it being fun, and you could do some really novel stuff by thinking circular instead of linear. Evolving fractal patterns etc.
A bit of a missed opportunity

I am considering getting the AR48 version.
Can it record chords for playback? Like a full, multi-note chord of one instrument (i.e. piano?) on one step of a sequence? (Not an arpeggiated chord like the manual describes…)
I know you can use the Scale function to extrapolate a single sample to chromatic pitches across the pads, but can you record several differently pitched notes of that scaled instrument on one step of a sequence for playback?
There has been discussion about the lack of a midi-in. However, someone found and commented on gearspace forums that you can attach an external usb/midi keyboard to the USB input where the ring is normally attached!

I have an AR-96 which I kind of actually hate but it hits my OCD so hard that if I turn it on I'm at it for like 19 consecutive hours trying to make it do stuff it won't…

I once saw a Roland product promotion ad with a Korg preset for the background music. strange. any way, is there any way to get midi in with one of these so that it plays when I hit play on my daw

There's really no need for you to put this much effort into stuff but I really love that you do.

I was hoping to find a positive review on this weird machine, as I can get my hands on a used one for a decent price. But if this thing can not provide me a fun way of creating music I am out. Thanks for your cool video.

It is a funny thing but the price is ridiculous for what you actually get.
It should be around 100 dollars.
But in what situation do you use it ? I would rather have a groovbox, there are some pretty cool devices available at the moment.
I guess rappers could use this as a portable beat and eye candy. Maybe do some juggling act along your rhymes?
Fun review

do you know that you can connect the ring with USB cable to computer and use it as a controller? 😀

This thing works amazing with a midi usb keyboard it makes the chords amazing (most work, apparently the akai budget keyboard does not, launchkey mini mk2 and keystep definately work)
