If you ever dreamed of cruising past 88 mph in a DeLorean, you’re definitely our people. This one unlocked every Saturday-afternoon VHS memory we’ve got. Which part of Back to the Future still makes you grin like it’s 1985?

Be sure to subscribe, and share this video with a friend who still insists the trilogy is untouchable — because they’re right.

If I had that time car I would think very careful if I want to use it. My 1st thought is go back to when I was about 14 and have a few words with myself and wack my young self in the head to do it. Do what? That is between the 2 of me. Problem is that will alter my future and me typing this now would not be typing this now. I could even be dead in that parallel universe I created.. Time is that timey whimy thing.

    1. "The Power of Love" was indeed written specifically for the 1985 film Back to the Future by Huey Lewis and the News. The song's lyrics don't mention the movie's storyline, but it became a huge hit and earned Huey Lewis an Academy Award nomination .

In 2024, we went to a screening of BTTF with live symphony orchestra playing the score. What a fun time! They even had a DeLorean on display in the lobby. I felt so immersed in the movie, like I was right there.

I remember the "Spaceman from Pluto" thing quite well, and still find it unbelievable. It would be like naming "The Wizard of Oz", "Grizzly, Grumpy, Growling Apple Trees".

16:30 I'm trying to remember Glover's version of his rejection of the role in the sequel. He accuses Bob Gale of lying. One thing occurs to me: if one really doesn't want the role, but has reasons not to say that, he just might demand an overly huge compensation package.

21:40 Part III ended with a big splash, "The END", when ending a movie with "The END" was no longer done.
22:50 "I know I make it big." "I AM rich." — Contrast these with the first movie's, "Suppose they didn't like it? Suppose they told me, `You have no future.'" It took some commenter to point those out to chicken the problems I had with the "chicken". These were sourced in Marty's different upbringing.

I would take the DeLorean to June 2012 open up a bitcoin account on Coinbase and buy 100 bitcoin at $7.00 a coin,I am not greedy.🤠Bitcoin is only at about 90k right now.

I remember driiving home from dropping a friend off at home and driving by the Puente Hills Mall and seeing this FLASH in the parking lot. I had no idea what was going on. As I drove around the mall to get on the freeway, I was able to look over the hedge and saw the opening scene with the DeLorean going into the future. Had no idea what the movie was until it came out about a year later

I saw Back to the Future on VHS. My sister had rented it from a video store and asked me if I wanted to watch it and return it for her. I'm glad I did. of the sequels, I preferred #3 over #2. I liked the Old West setting better than the futuristic ones from #3. I'm thankful that the creators have prevented future sequels or reboots.

One of my sister's classmates owns a DeLorean. For one of the class reunion appearances in the local parade, Back to the Future was the theme. The semi truck pulling the flatbed trailer with all the alumni was following the DeLorean. It was cool.
Of course, if it even had a flux capacitor, it was going far slower than the needed 88 mph. 😊
