@bennjordan Do you ever use this anymore? I'd be very curious.
This weekend Zaq Audio is discounting this down to 49 euro, and I'm very tempted. Not normally the way isequencer, but i think it would get me on another way of doing things. But I also want to keep the initial BCR2000 functionality.

Hey Benn, can you explain how you've got the Zaquencer and TR-8 mounted in this video? I'd love to find a similar mounting solution since desk surface area is always scarce.

This is why theses bloody things fetch so much used! Been after one to use as it was intended but the are always over ยฃ100 which seems a bit much lol

BCR2000's brick easy i tried to load a reaper script from mountain lions website on xp tried both mountain lions software and midiox and bricked it
edit store exit and load buttons stopped responding no lights but everything else turned on but only numbers on the cc first encoder.

i have the zaq sequencer as well amazing kit but the bcr2000's have capacitors that need replaced already blown fuses in power section i am hoping the bricked dump i done is actually the capacitors 10uf 25v and 47uf 16v that are in the circuit for the buttons i mentioned under the buttons there is one capacitor on the pcb.
thats two bcr2000's i have had that the capacitors have failed.
I have zaq sequencer v1.2 firmware it wont do a data dump but i have the manual from the website
but i would think twice on sending a data dump back to the zaq sequencer anyway

How to record live without "double notes" played? MIDI IN and MIDI OUT are transmitted from/to the same instrument so should I disable MIDI OUT for recording and enable to play the notes?

I just got Zaquencer installed on mine. I have a question though regarding the midi setup/routing. Are you going out from the BCR into a MIDI splitter? Daisy chaining? How exactly are you sending the MIDI to multiple devices from the BCR?

Looks very interesting. But I will probably never understand how I can bring all my MIDI devices together in such a way that it is a harmonizing system like yours.

Any word from Evil Corp on the allegedly forthcoming BRC32 ? Must be the only company with no excuse of chip shortage – seeing as they make their own. Itโ€™s the one product Iโ€™m keen on buying from them.

I was about to comment that you need to turn off your ac, then I remembered I left a condenser mic on in the headphone submix, and it's MY ac that's on. Sounds good.
Also, thanks for sharing this. My 20-something self is saying "told you so, Behr*** snob"

Does anyone know how to input/record midi like he does near the end of this video.. the Zaquencer records the notes he's playing on the synth…?

Not sure if this was already asked, but what do you use, or what is your process, for routing all of your midi for your studio? I am interested in the hardware we can't see, and if a computer is behind it?
    thanks!!
