ufcking green diamond charging indigenous people $70 million for lands they expropriated and logged to hell. As though they haven't recouped their costs 10 fold. Jerks! I'm so happy the Yuroks are getting back what is theirs! It should be free!!! It's going to cost so much to repair!!!

I went to college in the region and I’m so happy this happened. Indigenous peoples around the world are the ones who will revitalize this planet, even if they can’t save it from the ignorance and abuse outright. I’m sorry tribes are left with so many burdens from my colonizing ancestors, but I have gratitude for their return to their rightful place(s).

This Comment section is full of "fixing Nature crap" and "returning land."" i mean, one of the reasons why our country is this advanced isn't because of the natives. The Natives weren't perfect or anything. They had wars, Aztecs had human sacrifices until the spainish stopped them, and the Apache were brutal as well. Most of the U.S. was purchased, and land is never "stolen." It's conquered. So that would mean every country/empire in history "stole land."

So glad to see this returned to the people who know how to best care for the land. It's a dream come true to see the progress being made. These efforts truly make the world a better place

I don’t understand why these ppl have more right to this land than any other american citizen. Like why are you more entitled to it than a black woman or a muslim american? Simply bc of ancestry? I don’t get it

Klamath Falls? Excellent. It is a beautiful land. Bless those who fought for this & for keeping the faith. Who gave the timber company this land to begin with?
