Ppl talk mad trash abt the Paul bros and their parents; their parents did something right. The parents i stilled i them a good work ethic. Don’t get me wrong, there is a bit of luck involved but Those guys are constantly putting in the work. Many ppl get 1 viral moment or that Mr Beast referral. However, if you’re not making the videos that get attention of ppl that dont know you yet AND keep it fresh enough but similar & comfortable enough to keep your audience.
Look at iDubbbz… he did it the wrong way. I understand him growing and wanting to do things differently, show a different side of himself. I also understand that iDubbbz is a character. Ian realizing that his fans are the actual bsmnt dwellers that he pretends to be and being bothered that they didnt understand that iDubbbz isn’t actually living that life. However, instead of just sh!tting on them, he shldv encouraged them change. He cldv easily discussed new different topics on some live streams while also still doing bad unboxing and some content cops

I know all their songs pushed merch but that Xmas song by Jake was so over the top that my son was like 8 and said it was only abt merch. When the kids you’re marketing to dont like it bc they think it’s a commercial then … Great Job Parents! Obvi you let them watch some trash but you clearly spend some time with them since they’re able to see it as a commercial and not a song.

This video is way too negative bruh. The songs weren't THAT bad. I mean yeah they weren't full on professional musician stuff but still. And the drama was super interesting and captivating for those of us who were then teenagers. It also gave us a lot of nostalgia material when looking back at it. These were the good old days when life was simple and we didn't have many responsibilities. I'm happy to have experienced the YouTube drama of 2017 – 2019, and I think a lot of people are too.
